We took their Iceberg Cruise while on a Viking cruise. Captain Sikki was excellent. He took us to many beautiful places & told great stories about living in Greenland. The first mate, Sebastian, did a great job of keeping the bowl of yummy cookies full! The boat was beautiful & even had a bathroom. It is enclosed so we stayed warm. Can’t recommend this company enough!

Vi følte os godt taget i mod og de var gode til at opfylde vores behov med at se ekstra på et isbjerg eller fange en fisk.. kan varmt anbefales.

Det er utroligt søde og dygtige mennesker, der arbejder på båden. Samtidig har de sørget for lækker kaffe og lidt sødt til kaffen. Det er en meget fin og behagelig båd med alt i udstyr. Min oplevelse var, at de gør alt for at sikre, at turen er sikker i forhold til Grønlands lunefulde natur og vejrforhold. Ejerne er også søde, og de er meget venlige til at tilrettelægge en tur, der passer præcis til ens behov, samtidig med at de deler ud af deres store lokalkendskab og fortæller spændende historier undervejs.

Superb experience! I’m so happy that we elected to sign up for this Itilleq Ice Fjord Cruise excursion. We tasted glacier water and glacier ice, saw so many “sculpted” floating icebergs, and half hour of whales watching up close. The captain John and deckhand Sebastian were so friendly and generous. By far, this was the most entertaining and memorable experience of our Viking Expedition cruise! We heard so many people on this cruise telling us they regretted not seeing any whales.. Not us! The subsequent excursions on zodiacs and SOBs just paled in comparison to this excursion.

We enjoyed our boat cruise in Nuuk fjord very much. The boat was new, comfortable and warm and the crew were very engaging, friendly and knowledgeable.

Excellent Boat Trip Experience

We had a fantastic experience with Sumut Greenland. The boat is new, very nice, clean, and comfortable, which made the whole trip even more enjoyable.

The captain was excellent, very professional and clearly experienced. The whole crew was incredibly positive, friendly, chatty, and informative. They were happy to explain things, answer questions, and make sure everyone was having a great time.

What really stood out is that you genuinely feel like they do more than they are supposed to. They put a lot of effort into making the experience special rather than simply taking you from point A to point B.

I would absolutely recommend Sumut Green to anyone looking for a boat trip. Great boat, great crew, and a really enjoyable experience from beginning to end!

Myself and my best mate went for a Whale Safari tour yesterday 11th August 2026. We had more than an hour to enjoy the whales playing in the ocean. We managed to captures such a great moments plus the falls and monumental icebergs floating the ocean provided for us by Mother Nature. The tour will not be a great without the boat crew Sikki and Sebastian, they were great crew and friendly.

Skipper Sikki was very knowledgeable and told us a lot about Greenland. While the waterfall which was to be a highlight was foggy it was quickly surpassed by his finding us fin whales. Spectacular. The boat is clean and beautiful. Highly recommend

Amazing VIP experience in Nuuk, Greenland thanks to the pleasant and welcoming hospitality provided by Sumut Greenland, and his Captain and crew. We were able to have a nice boat trip with iceberg and whale watching, and even a spectacular waterfall. 10/10

We had an unbelievable experience on the water. Our hope was to see whales which is never guaranteed. The team found a whale and gave us a 45 minute thrill of just hanging out on the water enjoying the “show.” The crew was kind and knowledgeable about the local environment and culture and the boat was gorgeous.

We had a full-day tour with Sumut Tours to the Icefjord, and it was an unforgettable nature experience. We saw icebergs, waterfalls, and humpback whales up close to the boat. We were even served a drink made with thousand-year-old ice.

Iningo and Pia are highly professional while also being genuinely warm and wonderful people. Throughout the journey, they shared fascinating stories about the natural environment and life in Greenland.

The boat was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, and safety standards were excellent. I would warmly recommend Sumut Tours to anyone visiting Greenland.

Vi havde en fantastisk bådtur med SumutGreenland, hvor værtsparret Pia og Aningo gav os en uforglemmelig og meget informativ tur i deres moderne og meget lækre båd op til isfjorden forbi Storøen og hjem forbi Bjørneøen. Vi var så heldige at møde hvaler og Aningo var ikke bleg for at stoppe op og sejle "efter" dem, så vi fik de optagelser, vi SÅ gerne ville have i hus. Trods rimelig hårdt vejr følte vi os helt igennem i sikre hænder. Utrolig venlig betjening med frokost, drikke, kaffe og drinks undervejs.

We had a fantastic boat trip with SumutGreenland, where the host couple Pia and Aningo gave us an unforgettable and highly informative tour in their modern and very comfortable boat to the ice fjord, passing Storøen on the way out and Bjørneøen on the way back.

We were lucky enough to encounter whales, and Aningo did not hesitate to stop and follow them so we could capture the footage we very much wanted.

Despite fairly rough weather, we felt completely safe and in very capable hands throughout the trip.

The service was incredibly friendly, with lunch, drinks, coffee, and cocktails served along the way.

Our guided boat tour in Greenland was truly one of the highlights of our trip. We visited some of the most beautiful and breathtaking places imaginable, surrounded by stunning landscapes and pristine nature. To make it even more special, we were lucky enough to spot two humpback whales a few meters from the boat, an unforgettable moment that I will cherish forever.

Pia and Anningo are simply wonderful people. From the moment we stepped aboard, they made us feel welcome and at ease. Their warmth, kindness, and extensive knowledge of the area made the tour both enjoyable and fascinating. It is clear that they genuinely care about their guests and love sharing the beauty of Greenland with others.

We had an incredible Nuuk icefjord boat trip and it is something we will remember for the rest of our lives. Sikki was amazing. He was friendly and genuinely engaged. What made the experience even more special was seeing Greenland through their eyes. Their love for their country helped us better understand how important nature, hunting, and the fjords are to the people of Greenland. The boat itself was beautiful. Still smells new! We also really appreciated knowing we were supporting a Greenlandic family business that clearly loves what they do. We are so grateful for the Sikki and crew. Thank you!

We had an amazing 2 days with Aningo & Pia on their boat. They took us skiing one day and whale watching another. Both a lot of fun. Their new boat is amazing - fast and very comfortable - and they are experts on the Nuuk fjords as well as being very kind and thoughtful. I could not recommend them highly enough.

We have been on two other great boat trips around Nuuk, but Sumut Greenland is on another level. The boat is very large, stable and luxurious, and Aningo and Pia served us very well during our trip to the Ice Fjord. We will definitely recommend others to go with them!
