We have been using Sunbasket for almost 10 years now. The meals are healthy with a lot of great varieties. Not only is the service and quality great, we have become much more proficient cooks as we’ve explored numerous recipes that have enhanced our cooking skills. We have tried several other services in between and have always come back to Sunbasket. Highly recommend!

I like the fact that the recipes are creative and introduce new ingredients that otherwise I would not try.

That have many meals we really like, Anna we enjoy trying new ones. We tried several meal services, and we like Sunbasket the most, by far. We've been regular customers for nine years now.

We have been Sunbasket customers since early on, almost 10 years. We have stayed because the recipes are fantastic. The ingredients are high quality. There are plenty of options for different types of diets. We choose the paleo options and they are consistently flavorful with spices and ingredients that we don’t often use ourselves. On a regular basis I comment that our Sunbasket meal is better than anything we would get at a restaurant. And subscribing to Sunbasket has engaged my husband in cooking on a much more regular basis, which has been so welcome.

the emphasis on high protein, vegetables and FLAVOR keep me signing up for meals - I am never bored of the high quality selections. The ease of preparation is key too

The food is amazing.
Shipping issues are my only complaint. In summer when it's very warm delayed delivery issues are a problem. Especially if I am not at home to get the food into the fridge asap.

I have been ordering from Sunbasket for years. Love all the meals that we have made. Easy to make and very delicious. If I ever have a problem the Sunbasket team always responds on a timely matter and they always make it right.

Small portions and inconsistent ingredients - often they substitute non-organic foe organic ingredients and at times ingredients they provide can not be used- this happens often with avocados which are too hard so can’t use them. If you get a default shipment meaning you didn’t get a chance to select meals for yourself you can expect recipes with the cheapest ingredients - just this last week they gave me a frittata amd another recipe with tofu instead of meat chicken or fish. Even when the recipe includes meat chicken and fish, portions are very small and I buy extra to supplement. Their prices for the small portions etc are expensive and customer service disappointing. They do not seem to care when you bring quality control issues to them

The meals are delicious, healthy, and creative. So very easy to follow the directions and I feel like a gourmet cook.

Sun Basket people on the phone make us like Sun Basket more than just Great Food. They are helpful explain things well and refund $ to us when there is an issue.

I never thought I'd be cooking meals that were good instead of depressing. But a good fraction of the meals are outstanding, and even things I wasn't that excited about often pay -- like I wouldn't have thought a quinoa and kale centric meal would be pleasant, but the winter vegetables and tahini turned the whole thing around.

Downsides:
- It's my meal plan, they should really be more on top of their delivery services; I often get the food a day late (it's within the food safe window, but it disrupts my meal plan for the week).
- I asked them to deliver with Fedex, but sometimes they switch to OnTrac, who are absolute idiots and it's always a day late and an ordeal of "we had trouble with the delivery" text messages (with no way of finding out what the problem is or helping) with OnTrac.
- I wish the recipes were reorganized so it was mise en place first, cook second; yes, in theory it's faster to do the cutting and chopping while things are cooking if you're super-efficient, but I am not.

There is always a great variety of tasty meals to choose from. Every order is unique, easy to prepare and tastes great. I appreciate the fact the produce is organic and fresh.

I've been using Sunbasket since before the pandemic. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, the recipes are easy to follow, and the customer service is great. I have had very few problems with delivery in the many years I've used this service, and when there was an issue I was happy with the outcome.

As a diabetic, it’s nice to have meals where ingredients and nutrition are figured out in advance by someone else. Most of the meals have been pretty good to excellent. Only a couple duds. Problems include missing instruction cards (I have to yell out online instructions to my spouse in the kitchen), missing ingredients and misdelivered boxes, but these aren’t frequent.

Sunbasket is the meal kit I keep coming back to after trying many of the others. The recipes are healthy, flavorful, and a great value from a nutrition and calorie standpoint.

The meals usually taste as good as restaurant food (if not better) and the instructions are simple to follow. Several of the recipes have made it on my family's favorite recipes list. For me, it’s been the easiest way to eat healthier without feeling like I’m sacrificing flavor or my free time.

I love that ingredients are organic & fresh.
The recipes are great. Simple, but introducing new methods & ingredients..love that.
I'm glad I can pause my subscription.
I'm buying/planning meals for just one person- my work around is to make the batch & freeze for later.
In the hotter months the freshness is compromised by temperature and delivery method.
I'm in a small town.
I totally understand that FedEx is not going to curate my delivery and that Sunbasket has to work with what delivery methods are available. So I did pause it for the summer b/c of heat.. and also b/c I have more fresh produce available now.
I've been so happy with my experience with Sunbasket overall. I even got Thanksgiving from you guys. It was amazing.
Sustainable packaging is also a key factor. I compost the box & materials.
Quality is great. Veg, Meat & seafood from smaller sources.
AND! Customer service has always been awesome whenever I've had an issue or question.

I enjoy Sunbasket for the various healthy meal options and quality ingredients. The meals are carefully packaged and delivered. The cooking instructions are helpful in saving time prepping and cooking. I feel good knowing I'm eating whole food and nutritious dinners.

I love my Sunbasket meals! It makes it easy to know what’s for dinner every night and eat something nutritious. If I’ve ever had an issue, they correct it and have great customer service.

I love the menus, the weekly schedule tracking, the way the meals/market is organized. The quality of ingredients is fantastic.
