Sunbelt used to be very reliable and efficient, since the end of 2025/ beginning of 2026 the service has been AWFUL.
I have tried contacting the rehire desk multiple times via email, calls (to different numbers) and they do not answer.
The company is an absolute shambles and I will not be using them again for business purposes.

The delivery is always on time, kept in regular contact by the driver Alan Dodd nothing to much trouble , he dropped off tower as close as I needed it in the job. Excellent service

Zero star if possible. Submitted a request for a quote multiple times, and never heard back.

Do not bother with their hiring process. In back to back instances, I've been told a base pay that is SIGNIFICANTLY lower than what is listed on the job posting (the max during the interview was less than the minimum on the posting). They also say "base pay" in job postings but when you get to the conversation, they "will get you there" with commission. (Base pay was listed between $95-$130k but the actual base was $85-$95k plus incentives?) It should be criminal to do that, lying to get clicks. Interviewer was late to both interviews but made sure to end on time though. I was clearly a box check, but United Rentals is a much higher rated company so if you want a job in this industry, try there first.

Traveled 1 day to pick up electric mini excavator from Jefferson City, MO branch. Promised that it was operational. Found out on jobsite it was not. Sunbelt said they were too busy to come on site to help. They told me to try repairing myself and I would be reimbursed. I was unable to repair because there was a motor failure. I spent another day returning. I was billed for a weeks rental. I had to get district manager to stop the billing. I was promised Sunbelt would reimburse me through future free rental at my local branch in Springfield, MO. They didn't.

After being told by one of their own engineers that the battery was dead and needed replacing they sent another engineer out a few days later after I’d reported this to them and he then jump started it instead of replacing the battery which led to the machine dying overnight which put our hole job on hold.

I will forever use Sunbelt rentals for my equipment needs. They are a super upstanding company that show compassion. I 100% recommend them

I paid 1700 for a full month to rent a one man lift but when I returned it early, I only got 5 dollars back for the extra time I didn't use. Does not seem right to charge for full month even though I only used the lift for 12 of 28 days(Sep 12 to 24, of a rental that was booked from 9/12 to 10/10). I wont be renting from sunbelt again due to this policy and won't be recommending it to friends. To others who rent, make sure to understand this policy and keep your equipment the entire rental period as there is no benefit in returning early.

Was told totally the wrong information after explaining what the equipment was for, either their technicians are inadequate or they just take your money and run.

We have used Sunbelt to supply fencing for our garden over carnival for the last 5+ years. They have always had very good customer service. Mary form the Croydon customer service team was very quick to reply to all enquiries and helped me to set up a new account in no time. Also when she went on leave her colleague Helen stepped in to ensure the service was maintained meaning we got the goods rented and they helped keep the stress at bay. The team delivered and set up the fence in good time and to the best effect, ensuring our garden was protected form the dancing masses! Thanks very much :)

I would never support any business that contributed to the building of alligator Alcatraz. Shame on anybody who puts money before human beings.

How is this company not declaring mass redundancies?

This company's failure to acknowledge widespread redundancies raises serious concerns. Despite hundreds of job losses in recent months, there has been no official announcement or media coverage. This lack of transparency appears to be a deliberate attempt to protect the share price, their actions reveal a lack of direction and a disregard for their employees. The HR department, ironically named "The People Team," seems indifferent to the well-being of the workforce although they like to say the relevant things that make them sound like a caring business, far from the actual reality!

Why are you supporting the IPAs centres that are housing hundreds of thousands of migrants. When ashling Murphy was murdered and it was in main stream news did you not feel angry when the kids where attacked in Dublin where you not worried for the safety of irelands children. But now your happy to support the mass immigration that will lead to a lot more deaths and you played your part so blood will be on your hands shame on you for supporting this government and it’s forced immigration policies.

Ross in Flooring is brilliant!
Had a few issues with a machine hire and each time Ross was able to offer a solution that worked for us. Never did he use the usual textbook solution that we’ve had from other hire companies and caused us further delays. We got the job done and we were able to keep our client happy. Thank you
