Where do I start! I ordered online for delivery. They charged me twice for the same item, a housekeepers cut of beef which cost €9.98, that was the first thing they fecked up.
I was having a bbq and I ordered the butchers select 1/4 pounders, should have received 6 but instead I got 4 prepackaged burgers and a single burger in a plastic bag? To make matters worse, when I read the ingredients list, the burgers had a nut derivative in them. I have a nut allergy ffs! No mention of this when you order, even my dog wouldnt eat the burgers, that ls how disgusting they were, they went straight into the bin. The yoghurts I ordered had burst and coated other items in yoghurt too, why you would put a huge watermelon in the same bag as something as fragile as yoghurts, and not expect a yoghurt explosion, i dont know? And to top the whole thing off, as if it wasnt bad enough, when i emailed Supervalu about these issues, i got an automated response back stating it can take 10-15 days for a resolution. A bunch of clowns, terrible service, absolutely disgraceful and I might add, I order from Tescos online too and I've never experienced these issues. You should be shamed of yourselves Supervalu. I will not be ordering from you again, I will also make sure my family and friends and anyone I might ever have a casual conversation with, is made aware of your horrendously horrific service. The fact that you gave me burgers that have nuts in them when I have a nut allergy is beyond belief!

They used to have a great butcher counter and selection of meats.
That is why guys like me went there and not Aldi with the prepacked meat. I suppose I will go to Aldi, even though I i'd prefer to buy fresh meat.

My first experience with them was online shopping. They ignored the instruction that I'm communication impaired and can't use a phone, messed up my order, kept trying to substitute goods for more expensive ones when I had a budget, and were extremely insulting when I told them not to phone me. I only did two online orders and never again.
More recently, with Dun Laoghaire Supervalu, I arranged with them to put an advertisement on the notice board, they put the date on it and it was posted. Three days later it was gone. I asked why and the woman was rude to me and tried to say that maybe the date wasn't visible, her colleague had put the date on it clearly.
I spoke to a manager and said staff had taken my notice down, he immediately reacted by saying 'our staff wouldn't do that!' I told him they'd told me themselves they had. He changed his story without apologizing and claimed that the directors had been in and ordered the advert taken down - but hang on, didn't he just say his staff wouldn't take the notices down? The store was filthy with litter on the floor, I doubt the directors had been in, he was passing the buck. He was so rude and dismissive that I emailed customers services, explaining clearly that I can't use a phone, they 'asked my consent' to contact the store, and asked for my phone again and I told them again that I didn't use the phone due to disability. They said they'd pass my concerns to the store. A week later with no response, I contacted them and they responded that 'they hadn't passed my message on because I didn't give them a phone number. The chain of emails clearly shows me saying I can't use a phone and them responding saying they will pass the concerns on.
They still haven't passed the concerns on, the matter remains unresolved, and the store in question has tried to prevent me reviewing them.
I haven't shopped at Supervalu since, and never will again. They have lost my daily custom for milk and groceries. I don't deal with ableist companies or companies who treat their customers like dirt.

Was in supervalue Portumna today 28th July and had problem with internet for my voucher Aine checked me out and she was lovely seen her name on her badge her hospitality skills 100% another lady also had difficulties One staff member Christina said to me after I packed my bags and trying to get internet to work grabbed my bags and said you have to move as there is a queue and said the internet was down this morning but made no effort to sort it but was prepared to announce this to all. A kind elderly manager came out to support me until it came back the other customer just left without her deduction on her voucher.when that kind manager sorted it staff member Christina came over to me as she had been assisting at self service and said you have to go back in the queue again and wait your turn in a very unprofessional manner and informed her that was what I was prepared to do got in queue and Aine just scanned my voucher and paid for same I did say I would give her a good review and hope supervalue in portumna does also as her positive vibes and hospitality skills were unbelievable but as for other staff member Christina as name on badge pure ignorant from the word go and her manner leaves a lot to be desired I will always allow for someone having a bad day but this was unbelievable and hope this is brought to Musgroves/supervalue attention 100% to Aine thank you so much this never happened before ad im not from that area and was only passing through

I have just done a small shopping in Supervalue, Blanchardstown. As I approached the checkout an elderly lady at the head was taking her time much to the annoyance of the lady in front of me. A Supervalue check our young lady just passed by and offered to open another checkout immediately. She was just lovely, could not do enough for me as I too am “aging”. I've tried on numerous occasions to shop in super value, but each time is deflating.
I've checked reviews on super value and honestly I can't disagree with negative feedback.
I received a 10 euro voucher off my shopping and decided give it a go even though my previous experiences left me well short of cash
So today I decided give them a go, and to be honest it is very hard to shop in super value and come out feeling short of cash.
I went in trying to make this 10 euros make a difference but I ended up paying 20 euros more. One of my products was a super value gluten free pizza which I've just cooked and would not recommend to anyone with gluten problem it's total stodge.
I have to say I've shopped in clonakilty super value, an amazing store with fab produce but if like me you are trying to manage on very small income, Tesco's , Aldi, dunnes even is manageable, super value are so over priced IELTS not funny. Staff are amazing and very helpful but price wise keep away if your on a budget, they need to stop overpricing products .

If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible experience. shopping was delivered , checked the sheet and it had the right information , took the bags inside and realized that it was the wrong order. Rang up straight away to let them know , wouldnt speak with me as I wasnt on the named account. It was my wife's name. Told them GDPR is not an issue as I have the other customers details and order number I just want to ask for collection and delivery of our order. Wouldn't deal with me told me to ring the store. I get it , mistakes happen , but the response or attitude from the helpline was a disgrace. Well done guys , you've just lost a customer , back to Tesco for us where at least they care about their customers. Eventually I got in contact with my wife and the order issue was resolved but wow such poor customer experience

Absolutely gouging Irish shoppers during a period of inflation is unforgivable. Many products doubled in price with 40% price increases typical. Add in shrinkflation and it amounts to this being a shopping expert that leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
