My SWS 5 year old garage door is showing several signs of paint oxidisation and flaking off on the edges of the slats and is becoming an eyesore.
Contacted SWS who say it is not a manufacturing issue and is to be expected, really???.
They offered to supply some replacement slats but not enough for the whole door and I am to bear the cost of labour, alternatively I can pay £700.00 for a new curtain that will probably go the same way in 5 years time.
Couldn’t honestly recommend one of
their doors.

Bought some Hawa Junior pocket door components from SWS. Good advice by phone before the purchase, a good price, and the components arrived quickly and well-wrapped (2.5 meter aluminium tracks securely fastened to a strong batten of wood so they didn't get bent or damaged in transit.) Victor dealt with the sale. A good experience all-round.

I have had a Seceuroglide for many years and it has been a great garage door. They are not the cheapest on the market, but paying that little bit more means better quality products, longer warranties and better customer service. I have moved house recently and had no hesitation in purchasing another two SeceuroGlide Excel Roller Garage Door. Highly recommend the SeceuroGlide.

Having had one of their doors previously on our old house, we have just had a new one installed today to our new property and I cannot be happier!

I find it very strange there are a couple of negative reviews on here as I truly cannot fault the product or customer service from start to finish, I understand the SWS door is more expensive compared to other roller doors but that's the price you pay for a premium product that stands the test of time.

I brought 2 alluguard doors for a new garage scheme,
found the doors simple to fit and quality was good and value for money, would buy them again.

Great back up service, warranty excellent and always willing to help. We would not buy roller doors from anywhere else. Excellent quality.

If the after sales was better would have given 5 stars cannot fault the door. Contacted to find an approved repairer. There recommendation was absolutely appalling. Technical advised it was the eyes he would not accept changed the control box then said it was the motor. I contacted SWS who did contact the person repairing. He supposedly changed the transmitter when I asked for the old one back and the new battery he advised the battery was dead as he had the transmitter for more than a year still charged full price +vat as we had just replaced the battery. He advised he had thrown away and the bins had been collected. What a load of rubbish our transmitter and the new battery has gone back into his stock. Contacted SWS to advise as this person is approved by them not in the least interested. Therefore cannot recommend SWS for your garage door.

In a similar vein to some of the other reviews, I have an Alluguard 77 garage door where the powder coating has started to fail. The door has been cleaned and maintained in line with the manufacturers instructions and I do not live near the coast, where salt in the air could have contributed to this.
I raised it with SWS and was sent a dismissive email advising me to contact the installer. Having already done this, I was interested to discover the installer has stopped fitting Alluguard doors because of persistent issues with the powder coating.
I expected this door to have a relatively long life, especially if cleaned in line the manufacturers recommendations.
Disappointed is an understatement and the dismissive response from SWS is equally so.
Wouldn't touch SWS or Alluguard with a barge pole.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A GARAGE DOOR FROM SWS. Especially if you live in a part of Britain that is near the coast and/ or where it rains! The powder coat finish on my Excel garage door started to fail after less than 3 years to such an extent that the entire “curtain” had to be replaced. Here we are less than a further 3 years on and the replacement door is failing in exactly the same way. The warranty is NOT 7 years as the literature states but 5 so I am out of warranty. SWS refuse to accept that their product is not up to the job, blaming salty air and/or rain. Hello, it’s a garage door!

Door was making a cracking and creaking noise when opening and closing. It had been installed 4 years ago so still in warranty 2019. Screws were loose on each side of the ribbon and slats starting to split. Door replaced and after approximately another 4 years (2023) exactly the same problem. Out of warranty now. Would expect these doors to last longer.

My installer of the SeceuroGlide roller doors has gone bust and this roller door has now started to make squeeky noises, even though only fitted a few months ago (July 2022), and after contacting SWSUK, they have forwarded my details to another installer who can help. However, this installer wants to charge a call out fee (£150) which is to be paid by me instead of SWSUK since I have a warranty for 5 years!!
In the case of installers going bust, SWSUK should take care of getting clients issues resolved and bear the cost of whatever is required to be done, whilst clients are still within warranty period.
No further response received from SWSUK.
