Best appliance store in Waterloo

After a series of frustrating experiences with other stores, we were delighted to speak with Irina, a kind & efficient sales associate at T&A Appliances in Waterloo. Irina helped us purchase a new stove over the phone and arranged for its delivery in just 2 days, making the entire experience both easy and pleasant. The delivery persons, Jason & Samuel, were equally efficient & considerate. By far, our best experience in buying an appliance & a highly recommended store & sales associate.

We had a few glitches with the delivery…

We had a few glitches with the delivery of our portable bbq and a Kitchener salesman went above and beyond to rectify the situation. The bbq works great and is a good portable one which we were looking for.

Worst experience ever with delivery

Worst experience ever with delivery. I didn't get my washer and dryer until the 3rd time they came to my house. The first delivery men were very unprofessional. They didn't want to do the work. I heard them on the phone calling me a very nasty woman. It was very upsetting.
The second time they didn't have my appliances on the truck.
Third time was a charm. The guys were great.
You are refunding my delivery fee. I would think you could do better.
I like my appliances but not sure it was worth the aggravation.

Staff were friendly and helpful

Staff were friendly and helpful. Only issues were that the fridge arrived in 'demo mode' so wasn't cooling properly, corrected promptly after a phone call, but shouldn't have happened in the first place. Also the way the fridge hinges work it is not ideal beside a wall. I guess I should have recognized that but I think sales staff should have pointed it out.

Not a great experience so far

BBQ took over two weeks to come in (even though we were told it was in stock). Also ordered a stove at the same time which has not come in yet. Salesman has been quite helpful though.

Frigidaire Microwave

Ordered April 13, 2026 and microwave still not received. As I recall, we were told 2 to 4 weeks. Jessica was good to deal with but TA should be after Frigidaire as the microwave we purchased was available from other retailers, from what I was able to determine. In fact, today, another online retailer said delivery June 17.

I’m getting a request to rate your service, but I ordered a Viking microwave 15 days ago and I haven’t received any message about when to expect to receive it. So how can you ask me rate you when I don’t even know how the product is working.

There was a flaw in one of the items out of the package and the staff at TA were great to find a quick solution for me so the BBQ was immediately usable.
