Great service, very well organised trip, loved it, all hotels great, timings perfect, would definitely recommend. We missed the Bernina Express due to a late train from Italy, so unfortunate but didn’t detract from the holiday. The team at TMR emailed alternative train options to get to Chur, which did follow most of the route of the Bernina.

At 77 years old we wondered whether this trip might be too much for us, especially with digital tickets etc., but from start to finish TMR were helpful and contactable.
Our trip started and finished in Málaga and the rail journey to Barcelona was added to the schedule.
Every hotel was above expectations, both in quality and location, and the breakfasts were magnificent.
An Italian transport strike threatened our journey from Venice to St Moritz, but a phone call to TMR soon solved the problem for us.
If anyone might be put off by not speaking the local language, we met people from all over the world and the only person who couldn't speak English was a man from Moldova in Vienna.
It was a trip of a lifetime for us and we have already recommended TMR to several of our friends.

They organised my personal itinerary making suggestions and advising good knowledge on the Cinque Terre location. Communication was excellent.

The train journey organised from England to and across Switzerland was excellent. All good depature times. The accomodation was all within easy acess from the train stations first class travel throughout I can highly recommend.

Fantastic out of hours help when our train was cancelled. All the staff were really helpful.

Amazing experience first class

Well organised, responsive to needs. Was our first trip of this nature and we thoroughly enjoyed. Only blot was lack of tickets for the boat trip but that eventually got sorted.

We’ve used TMR a couple of times, they’ve always provided a great service suggesting itineraries, organising tickets and hotels, keeping abreast of timetable changes and engineering works and providing support when things change while travelling. Our recent holiday went without a hitch despite a couple of quite intense days involving 3 or 4 changes of train in one day. Cant recommend them highly enough! Will definitely use again.

Tailor Made Rail do a fantastic job of organising trips. We had 16 days in Spain recently. The hotels were good to excellent, the travel all went smoothly, the planning and customisation of our trip was very well organised and the communication was very good.

Wonderful holiday. TMR ensured everything ran smoothly. Trains were all to schedule and the hotels were lovely, especially the ERIKA Boutique Hotel in Kitzbuhel.
The scenery was stunning and great to be able to sit back and relax & just enjoy it.
Communication has been good throughout the booking and comprehensive documentation was provided prior to the holiday.
We will do another railway holiday in the future.

Experience of two trips tells me that the staff at Tailor Made Rail really know what they're doing. The itineraries have been great but, in particular, the hotel choices have been fantastic. We've stayed in six hotels, all of them terrific in their different ways. It's the knowledge of the available accommodation and the European rail system that I really value.

Never booked with this company before and first train holiday I have been on.
Staff were very helpful, sorted all of our requests out and even contacted us with alternative routes when the Italians went on strike on one of the days we were due to travel. Suggested hotels easy to get to and upgrading rooms and train travel was easy.

I booked the Taste of Bavaria trip with Tailor Made Rail in December and it included first class rail travel from outlr home town. The whole trip was very well organised, with good timings so we never felt we were rushing to catch a train.
The hotels were very comfortable. From the booking onwards, TMR were flexible and I can thoroughly recommend using TMR for unaccompanied rail travel. This was our second trip and we will definitely do more with them.

Very prompt service and were able to rearrange the schedule to our preferences without any fuss.
Travelling first class is definitely worth the additional cost as the trains do get quite crowded.
