Taskers has always prided itself on unique and well made products including garden furniture which is what I purchased in the sale! Be quick though as once it’s gone it’s gone and not many left that were available when I visited. Still managed to purchase what I wanted with the amazing Megan and assistance from Colin the store manager, both staff were happy to help and Megan was really knowledgeable about all stock, etc etc, love taskers…want to buy everything every time I visit x

We travel a distance to visit this brilliant place. Having bought a full marble dining table and chairs , rug and stunning light fitting our room looks like a show home and we are so pleased. We often pop over to have a look round and inevitably come away with reed diffusers which we use as gifts. 5* recommend.

8Absolutely the Worst furniture store I've ever encountered. Staff have zero customer service skills and find it funny they can't deliver . Only offer 1 delivery day which you aren't aware of when you order .
If I was John Tasker I would be embarrassed to employ these people in a customer service roll .
Get a link to organise a delivery yet nothing available if you can't stick to a Saturday. Appalling staff and service. Can only advise to use likes of housing units who offer far superior service

*** in response to your offer of collection *** you needed 2 days notice to get 4 boxes ready . Unfortunately I only know at 7am if I will be in Liverpool. I advised I could collect with 5 hours notice but you declined that . I had it delivered to a family member who had a m post code but was actually further away than my house . The product was great the service appalling.

I have never left a review for a company before, but I felt I had to share my experience.

I have visited this store a couple of times and made two separate purchases. Unfortunately, I ended up having to request a refund on both occasions.

The first time, I ordered some outdoor lighting that was out of stock. I was told they were expecting a delivery soon, so I was happy to wait. After a couple of weeks had passed with no update and no lights, I requested a refund.
The second time, I wanted to buy some table lamps that were also out of stock. The lady in the lighting department assured me that if I placed the order, they would be delivered to the store within a week. Several weeks later, they still hadn't arrived. I sent a couple of emails asking for an update but never received a reply.

Eventually, I got fed up with waiting and requested a full refund, which was processed without any issues.
Even now, around five weeks later, the table lamps are still showing as out of stock.

To me, it feels like the company is happy to take your money for products they don't actually have available, leaving customers waiting indefinitely with no communication.

Having had this happen twice, I wouldn't feel confident ordering an out-of-stock item from them again.

Super quick home delivery as I couldn’t make it to the store on this occasion

Following a visit from hospital, on the way home passed Tasker on Long Lane, due to the fact I had plenty of time decided to pay a visit, was originally checking out a dining table and chairs to which we are still undecided but ended up with a purchase of a barbecue and outside storage. Usually visit Housing Units in Manchester but now with the range Taskers have of all household goods will definitely be my place of choice from now on.

Beware the very high delivery charges with this company , they charged £150 to deliver a small chair. I cancelled the order when the delivery had not arrived in a reasonable time despite the chair being in stock. The company then took weeks to refund me my money despite me chasing them for it.
There are much better retailers to deal with. I ordered a chair with another company & they delivered within 3 days at a cost of only £40. I wouldn’t order anything from the company again due to the bad experience
