I reserved a car for a very important event in Paris that cost us $615 so we needed to arrive on time I booked this taxi service a month in advance receiving a conformation from the company. The day of the event the company never showed or call leaving us in a frantic state to find a driver 30 min before the event costing us a lot more which was bad bad avoid this service our pick up from Paris train station from another company booked through here was over 15 min late and the second company never showed up. Very upsetting.

When I enquired about a taxi from the river cruise dock in Basel to the airport, 1 taxi company replied with a price of 67 Swiss francs. As this was the only one that replied I accepted the quote and they confirmed the booking. Then when I was on the cruise they decided that they wanted paid in advance, which I had no way of doing but I said I would pay the driver. They would not accept this and they cancelled the booking. I got the cruise company to order me a taxi and it was only 45 Swiss francs so in the end they did me a favour. I would not use this company again, there was nothing but problems.

Komt niet opdagen terwijl je 2 dagen op voorhand per email reserveert en daar een bevestiging van krijgt. Als je dan belt waar ze blijven hoor je eerst een 'ik weet niet hoe lang het duurt'. Na een kwartier nemen ze niet meer op tenzij je met geheim nummer belt.
Heel slecht als je een vlucht wilt halen!

Found taxi finder when planning a city break to Brussels while comparing train / bus / taxi options for transfers from and to the airport from the city centre for my wife and I. I received 3 quotes promptly, was able to confirm options via email within the portal and selected a service that was good value, nice vehicle, pleasant driver and on time.

Found this site on internet when looking for a decent ride from the airport to our Hotel in Rome.
Got an answer the evening itself from two companies. The prices offered were the same (cheaper then a white taxi) and chose one of them.
The contact was made very fast. The day itself we had some delay and the driver was already (or still) waiting for us. The ride to the city was good.
All in all I would recommend Taxi Finder.

Every time I sent them email I got the reply straightaway. Honest experiences. I received quotes for my transfer from beauvais airport Paris to centre parc resort les bois france. I confirmed a transfer with a company and sent five emails confirming our specific requirements i.e. 4 adults and five kids, requiring car seats for three kids, one child was a baby aged 6 months.
What we actually got was a transfer for just 8 people and no car seats for any of the children. The taxi vehicle that we got the air conditioning and one seat belt didn't work. Very poor standard.
We had no choice but to go with this guy which was totally illegal. We had no help and were left totally exposed to a very poor taxi company which was a very poor standard. The person who I was emailing out requirements to hung up the phone on me and wouldn't speak to me. Left feeling very annoyed and frustrated.

I received several quotes by e mail quickly following logging my journey requirements, both inbound & outbound.
All were competitive.

Only thing I'd fault on is I notice company I booked with, has no phone no. showing on their e mails, which I'd like as a back up, should there be any problems.

Not good so far from the taxi companies. This site did get me a response fairly quickly first class. However I then contacted the taxi company to change the time by an hour the company seemed to assume I was a new client quoted me -€150 that's an increase of €50 for a different call. The price is the price surely.

Taxi Finder is a great online service, with individual taxi services then bidding for your fare. Great when travelling overseas to be able to organise these things before hand and know exactly how much it will cost.
