TD BANK AND STRIPE…
This is absolutely the worst bank you could ever put your money in.
I experienced fraud in my account. A hacker took over an account I had at Robin Hood securities.
I hadn’t used it since 2021.
They kept taking money from TD Bank.
I have so much evidence of fraud, but they used something called Stripe which reviewed the hackers transactions and they concluded they were mine!
That is not a fraud search!
They never reviewed any of my evidence that these trades could not possibly have been done by me.
I am a disabled senior, and I do not know how to trade cryptos or do any of the stuff that this hacker did to my account.
He disabled my security questions and changed my account from a cash account to a margin account.
In a short span of time, he did dozens and dozens of trades when the only time I ever use this account was in 2021 to buy a handful of stocks.
This is not my trading pattern in anyway, so I don’t know who these stripe idiots are, but they couldn’t find fraud if they were stepping in it.

I had an incredibly disappointing and discriminatory experience at the TD Bank branch on 1st St SE in Washington, DC. I visited to open a bank account and was told that my government-issued ID was “fake”, despite it being legitimate and valid. I was then required to provide a second form of ID, which felt unnecessary and humiliating.
The branch manager was rude and unprofessional throughout the interaction. Even after I went to retrieve my passport, no apology was issued for the inconvenience or the insulting treatment. Instead, I was simply told that they could not help me with opening an account.
This experience left me feeling disheartened and disrespected, and I cannot ignore the discriminatory undertones of how I was treated. No customer should have to deal with such behavior, especially at a financial institution that is supposed to be trustworthy and welcoming.
I urge TD Bank to take accountability for the unprofessional conduct at this branch and ensure that bias and discrimination have no place in their customer service practices.

Have a retail account with furniture store. TD has horrible online system, they didn't send me a bill for 2 months, I have to go into store to pay. Called TD rep and they said system was down. All I want to do is pay my account and it is the most difficult payment system I have ever seen. This also happened to my wife with a separate account related to payment processing for a check sent to them. I have been DEALING and holding on for a year now to all the crap this bank puts you thru just to do business. They are not the only game in town, they need to be told that!! The tellers think they are God and will make you wait forever, I've gone in and stood for 10 minutes with 4 behind the counter, what happen to customer service? Do it later I'm here now.. The web says they will notorize something I needed and was blown out by 2 branches, now they lie? The phones hang up on you when you call, on and on.. I'm done and taking my friends with me to hopefully be appreciated at another bank.. I don't need them, they need us!!!
TD America's Most inconvenient Bank.
td on their website said that it would be open on Sunday. The day before MLK day. So I check the times 11 AM - 2PM when they will be open. I went to 5 td banks and all of them were closed.
Now I have to wait till Tuesday. Everything that should have been done on Sunday will have to be pushed till Tuesday. That was 1 of hour of waisted time for nothing. This is not the first time they have done this. This is the worst bank.
Avoid this bank
This bank has terrible service and policies. I've had trouble with credit cards, broken ATM machines, CDs, and check deposits. They closed every office and ATM that I used regularly. My tolerance reached it's limit when they refused to honor a certified bank check that I deposited in person. They have no respect for their clients. They just use us to extract as much money from our accounts as possible. I've closed the accounts and moved to a credit union that values their customers. Don't give TD Bank your business. So many bad reviews with common themes, they obviously don't care to fix anything.
Always a positive experience at the Third Avenue Branch NYC
We would like to add to the list of positive reviews for the service provided by Mr Juan Pena at the Third Ave branch in midtown Manhattan. He has helped us on several occasions, opening accounts, giving advice. He is always friendly, professional and knowledgeable. That is our local branch and we have always had positive experiences with all of the excellent staff there.

With sickening repetition, while waiting on the phone, one hears "AMERICAS MOST CONVENTIENT BANK" regarding TD BANK. From my recent experience, I have asked the bank to kindly delete this lie and change their slogan.
I am in Florida (West Palm Beach) with a TD Bank account from NJ - on which my brother is also listed. In order to add my accountant to my account , the two TD Bank branches: (NJ - Pompton Plains and FL - West Palm Beach) must verify all signers by email exchange. In order to get the email, the banks must communicate by phone. Herein lies the problem. West Palm does not always answer the phone.
Having given clear instructions to my brother, who must approve via verification the new addition, no one in the West Palm Beach branch would answer the phone. (If a customer is in the bank, they take care of them first and DO NOT ANSWER the phone.) This policy resulted in my brother having to travel to the Pompton Plains Branch twice in order to achieve this. Making matters worse, I escalated my complaints to the bank managers of each bank (they call them store managers, sort of like Walmart) Rich in Florida and Victor in NJ- and both managers took their leave from Christmas to the New Year - leaving follow up instructions for this exercise with no one. Each and every teller admits that the non-answering of the phone is a chronic problem. Americas Most Convenient Bank? Not from my experience - this was awful service. While the employees were friendly and professional, the service grossly inefficient and uncoordinated. Thanks to Alex in West Palm Beach and Italo in Pompton Plains - they did their job, but with the managers disappearing with no follow up instructions, we had to start over again having the signature cards resent (when managers are away, no one has access to their emails).
TD Bank must do better to answer phones, and if all else fails, please let someone know if there is urgent business pending if you go on vacation. Plan ahead.

On December 2nd I deposited a FEMA check from the hurricane that hit Daytona Beach that caused massive damage to my home I was told it would take about 6 days to clear it is now been over two weeks it hasn't cleared causing me more and more money because of the damage that I can't afford to fix the rain coming in my house is causing my ceilings to collapse and my floors to buckle up and every day it cost me more money to this day I received nothing out of an 18,000 check they told me I had a zero balance now I don't know what to do and I am in panic State I can't get any help from TD Bank they won't tell me anything of what's going on I spent all the cash I had I am penniles and homeless at this point. I hired contractors to do some work and a tree fell on the house it was 200 years old uprooted and I told the people I would pay them now I didn't pay them I didn't pay some of the contractors that help me and they're all raging at me I don't know what to say and I feel ashamed of what's going on here that they can actually keep the money be very careful of opening an account with TD Bank watch your back with them

I was irrate when I called customer service after they locked my debit card for fraud. I called and spoke with a customer service rep that said they couldn't unlock and had to issue a new card. I said that was not an option and furiously asked for a supervisor. I was transferred to Richard (from Maine). His calm,compassionate service was incredible! I asked him if I could praise him and he tried to connect me to his management team but I got a busy signal and wasn't able to give him the accolades he deserved.

Too bad zero stars is not an option. Do not try TD Bank or you will be sorry. All good when everything works in terms of their systems/online/etc. work. Good luck if they don't. I am going to one of many other choices, dreaming that they are nowhere close to as much of a disater TD is.
TD BANK SUCKS!
Truly, by far, the worst customer service of any bank that I have ever ever dealt with the Franklin trust and savings that went bankrupt because of the scandal with the Vatican years ago, look like the place to be they still have my account frozen because of stupidity and importance for online security, but I have gone into the branch two times. I have provided them with everything to prove who I am and yet they still can’t undo what they have done. Please avoid TD Bank at all cost And find a real bank to deal with tomorrow. Will you be my last day because I’m going in there if I can’t get it resolved in 10 minutes then I will be withdrawing my money. I will not open up a CD which I was going to do and the only thing good about them is they’re very convenient, but if you can’t access your funds or do online banking just how convenient are they?
