TED'S HAS VERY FANCY WEB PAGE BUT HE SELL YOU NOTHING BUT POOR QUALITY PLANS. MOST OF THE PLANS I LOOK AT WERE INCOMPLETE AND VERY DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND. HE ADVERTISED HIGH QUALITY PHOTOS AND EASY TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS, THEY ARE ANYTHING BUT. I ALSO ORDERED A FREE DVD HE OFFERED AND THEY CHARGED $7.95 SHIPPING AND HANDLING BUT WHEN I CHECKED THE BILL I WAS CHARGED $27.95 FOR A DVD I DID NOT ORDER. I HAVE MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO RETURN BOTH DVDS (WHICH BY THE DID NOT WORK) AND I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM YET. I GAVE HIM ONE STAR ONLY BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE THE OPTION FOR ZERO.

they never delivered. what i got as a download was just more requests for money. i contacted my bank and filed a fraud claim. they quickly sent something and convinced the bank it wasn't fraud. when i try to log in to the member site, it goes nowhere, just another page asking for money. never been able to log in to get any projects. when i try to download, again, the only thing that downloads is more "purchase" pages. i've never got any updates or anything they promise. costly mistake. stay clear. this has been ongoing since i paid, 9 months ago. today still get nowhere. it's truly nothing but a scam

Teds did not specify in their online presentation that their basic product is purely digital. I made the purchase not knowibg this. Being an 80 year old and not being computer savy, this product is of no use to me. No resource to recoup money spent because Teds works only thru Clickbank...no access to Teds management!

THEY UPDATED THEIR DATABASE AND ADDED ME BACK INTO THE SYSTEM AM NOW GETTING MY LIFETIME ACCESS THAT I PURCHASED. Took a few emails but its ok now!!! Its bait and switch...My problem is they promise lifetime access then they change the members area a bit and say they have upgraded the site, then require you to pay a legacy fee to access a site that they promised to give you lifetime access. The $67 dollars plus whatever I paid for a VIP upgrade, its not that big of a deal. What angers me is being lied too. We get enough of that from our so called leaders.

Although the company seems to offer a great product once you press the buy key you are hit with the reality. Using the system is needlessly time consuming and very difficult. The money back guarantee is also a joke. I’ve spent days trying to get a refund. The process for getting a refund is designed to make the buyer give up. In my opinion this website is a total scam. BUYER BEWARE.

Do not buy this

Advertised over 16,000 woodworking plans. Not even 10% that many. The plans were very poor quality, and out of date. I should have realized it was a scam when the upgrade offer kept popping up. The moneyback guarantee is also a farce. I sent a request within a couple days and have been waiting over a year.

You know sometimes when things seem too good to be true, you should trust your gut feeling. I was offered free plans by Ted's woodworking all I had to do was provide my e-mail address, which I did and then got this reply "Invalid email. Please use another email".
Sorry Ted, if you can get something simply correct, you're not to be trusted.

A mix of all sorts of woodworking documents, clearly collected (scraped?) together from various sources.
Very few are of the standard advertised with clear plans and pictures - many don't even have a photo of the finished object.

The 147 Woodworking Books Compendium (one of the many upsells) is a good example.
All the books are really old - the most recent is from 1929 and many are from the 1800's.

Want a book you can use to improve your woodworking skills? Save your money and look elsewhere.

The only good thing about this business is that you do get your money back when asked. Make sure you do!

The Teds Woodworking Plans is a good start for beginners, woodworking enthusiasts, to start learning and have fun with various woodworking projects.
Though the actual number of woodworking plans are not as high as 16000, it actually provides their customers with a good number of plans to start with. People are not getting into the details while writing Teds woodworking plan as a scam.

This website sells plans that are illegally obtained from other sources. Some of the projects are available for free other places on the internet. Some are extremely low quality and some are simply assembly instructions from knock-down furniture.

The entire concept is a scam.
