When Rob first mentioned that Tempo are more collaborative and don't take the same approach as traditional auditors, frankly we were dubious to some extent. We've been audited in the past in the full military / headmaster's-office style, so we walked in braced for the same — clipboard, raised eyebrow and all.

I have to say, from start to finish it was seamless. I'm sure everyone at Tempo sings from the same hymn sheet, but I can't emphasise enough how much we appreciated Monique's approach — she made a molehill out of a mountain.

It was a lot of hard work in a short space of time, and I think we'd have gone a little mad without her steer. So thank you, Monique — sincerely.

We'd have no hesitation in recommending Tempo to anyone; Rob and the team have turned something we used to dread into something genuinely painless—so much so that we’re already considering implementing ISO 42001 to expand on our new ISO 27001 certification, and since Tempo offer audits for it, we'll likely be kicking that off sooner rather than later. We're even (almost) looking forward to the surveillance audit next year - already in the diary.

I recently completed my ISO 27001 audit With Tempo audit and wanted to share what a genuinely positive experience it was from start to finish. The engagement was smooth and well organised.

The auditor I worked with was exceptional, highly professional, diligent, and incredibly thorough, yet still approachable and supportive throughout. Several colleagues mentioned how comfortable they felt during their conversations, which really helped them open up and engage confidently in the process. That balance of rigour and warmth made a noticeable difference to the overall experience.
It was also my first time going through an asynchronous audit, and I was pleasantly surprised by how effective it was. The approach proved efficient and flexible, and the auditor adapted seamlessly to our hybrid ISMS setup. This ensured the whole process ran smoothly on both sides.

I really appreciated that the audit was as asynchronous as possible, meaning I could attend other work whilst the audit was ongoing. Is it weird to say I had a good time?

We worked with a more traditional auditor for a couple of years, but they didn't seem to understand the needs (and technology) of our start-up, so we looked elsewhere.

Susanna and Rob were so much better. They knew how to use our ISMS software from the beginning, so I didn't have to spend most of my day e-mailing documents to the auditor. It was a collaborative process - I was given time to find documents I didn't immediately have to hand, and worked with the auditor to ensure we could demonstrate we meet the standard. But most of all, they understood our business and used that understanding to explain and audit the standard in a way that made sense to our start-up.
