Terra che Vive’s hands-on “Dairyman for a Day” experience was terrific. The experience started with Terra che Vive’s Marco showing us around the farm. Then we were taught how to make 4 types of fresh cheese, including mozzarella and burrata — participating, and tasting, every step along the way. The cheesemaker that Terra che Vive works with is outgoing and patient, and with Marco translating, was happy to help us and answer our questions. Afterwards, we were served what we made, along with a selection of the dairy’s other cheeses, salumni, bread, and local wine. Highly recommend to people who like to deep-dive into the traditional foods of the places they visit.

Marco was on his game from start to finish. Great communications and incredible ability to translate. The dairy farmer for the day was fantastic with a hands on experience making cheeses with Umberto.
We started with milk, adding ingredients to form the curds, then manipulating the curds and on to forming the burrata and watching the expert cheese maker create a fantastic fior di latte ball. Such a great time. Finished with a light meal of cheese and meat.
Price was more than fair.

We had the most amazing dinner experience having a chef come to cook for us a meal one night while we rented a Masseria for our family in Puglia. Due to our place having limited cooking capability, Davide came prepared with all the necessary grills and cooktops necessary to complete the task. We were able to pick out each course ahead of time and the chef was able to make alterations for our son who is gluten sensitive. Terre che vive also included an assistant, Francesca, who helped him set up the table and serve. It was the experience we had hoped for, felt it was worth every bit what we paid for, and would do it again if ever in the area again!

The whole experience was amazing especially making pasta with the family
Davide was a good teacher and instructor and also very patient and quickly to assist
Marco was a very good tour guide of the farm, the mozzarella and the various cheese making was very good
In whole we thoroughly enjoyed it and mostly enjoyed the fruits of our labour, orecchietti with fresh tomato and basil Yummy

My wife and I had a wonderful intimate experience at the Dairy Farm for the cheese tasting tour. Our host/guide was so gracious, knowledgeable and friendly and everyone made us feel so welcome. It was great to learn of the process and see the cheese masters at work and we also enjoyed walking the property seeing the cows in various stages of life. This is a terrific experience for the entire family and one that should not be missed on your way to Albirobello from the coast (Bari/Monopoli/Polignano A Mare). The lunch was also plentiful and delicious!

The private cheese workshop we did with Marco was the highlight of our trip in Puglia ! We visited a farm, had a great time learning how to make the cheese and of course tasting it with a little glass of vino. Our guide Marco was excellent, Umberto who demonstrated how to make the cheese made it fun for us. All 4 of us highly recommend this experience.

Amazing authentic experience with Chef David in a 100 year old Truilli - the food was delicious and Chef David was wonderful- we loved his family stories of his grandmother cooking :-)

It was an amazing tour. Our guide Marco was exceptional, excellent English and very engaged and knowledgeable. Leonardo and Davide showed us how to make cheese and homemade pasta. I would highly recommend. I travelled with 2 kids, ages 8 and 13 and they both loved it.

We booked the private experience with chef davide. Two adults and three kids of 7,9 and 12.
This was a fantastic experience first we received in his own private olive field for a wine tasting,then we moved to the the bread making and cooking, and then pasta making and the sauce preparation.
The kids were super interested,us as well. Chef Davide is super nice, very interesting,he is taking the time to answer all questions and he is very patient with the kids l, he became a sort of role model for our kids after just a few hours and they are still talking about him .
What s more is the diner we had after wards,with not only our pastas but also delicious and very typical starters and dessert.
An unforgettable moment and highlight of our holiday in Puglia.

I had an amazing time! Marco is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel right at home. Learning how to make mozzarella and burrata was both fascinating and fun, and the time just flew by.
Don't be put off by the slightly remote location—nestled in the fields. That's actually part of the charm: being in a natural landscape, far from the city and close to traditions. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for something authentic and unique
La mia esperienza è stata fantastica! Marco è una persona molto accogliente e ti fa sentire subito a tuo agio. Imparare a fare la mozzarella e la burrata è stato davvero interessante e divertente, e il tempo è letteralmente volato.
Non lasciatevi intimorire dalla posizione un po' isolata, immersa nei campi. È proprio questo che rende l'esperienza speciale: trovarsi in un paesaggio naturale, lontano dalla città e vicino alle tradizioni. Consiglio vivamente questa esperienza a chiunque voglia vivere qualcosa di autentico e unico

This was an amazing olive oil tasting experience. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We had an informative tour of the olive trees and then a delicious olive oil tasting. We had a 5 year old and a 2 year old with us and they were totally included. There was olive oil and beauty products to purchase at a very reasonable price. At €25 per adult (children were free) this was great value for money. Totally recommend this small family business.

Marco and the guides were fantastic --Highly recommended --On the dairy farm you actually make the cheese after going through the process step by step --very hands on ---and it was the best mozzarella i have ever had --Tour of Alberobello was very informative ---can see inside inside the homes gives you a great idea how the people lived.

We arrived early and was greeted by the Architect. He and my husband had such a wonderful chat. It set the tone for the rest of the experience. We lived our tour guide and the tasting! Definitely do this!!!!

Our famiky visited the masseria and had the amazing experience of making mozzarella and burrata. The tour of the property was really interesting and provided in details how the masseria works and is self sustainable. The cheese making portion of the tour was simply amazing and one of a kind. Everyone had great time, from my mom who is 80 to the 5 teenagers. The master cheese maker was so knowledgeable and very patient in showing everyone of us every step of the process. He was very engaging with the kids us well. He also impressed us by making the biggest burrata we have ever seen and animal shaped fiordilatte.
The tour ended with an abundant lunch that showcased all the products of the masseria including the fresh mozzarella and burratas we had just mad.
If you are looking to experiece Puglia in a authentic way, I highly recommended this tour and experience. You will come away from it enriched in so many ways.

We took two tours. The coordination was prompt, clear, and detailed. The tour group sizes were small and intimate. It was a good value. I loved the family's two dogs at the olive mill.
