Audiologist Lee Gascoyne in Cleveleys combined an explanation of the process of hearing with his experienced and skilful use of the latest amazing technology to measure the effectiveness of what lies between the ear and the brain. He found that the ear drum and the middle ear were OK; the problem was at the point where the cochlea turns vibrations into electrical signals to the brain. His diagnosis exactly matched the symptoms of high frequency hearing loss. Finally, it was agreed that the best solution lay in a particular hearing aid. A brief test with this hearing aid made an astonishing difference, instantly regaining all the clarity that had been lost. 90 minutes well spent!

Another appointment was made for the fitting and the beginning of a life-long process of aftercare of both the aid and of my hearing!
