NYE party at Blues Kitchen! What a party live music, DJs and great company of friends. Accompanied with great cocktails, shots and champagne. So worth it

Went to blues kitchen for the 1st time on the weekend to a party in the private caravan area.

Great vibe and live music played in sets. Food was good, great selection of drinks, and service was very friendly and quick.

deserves a 4.5 only downside was how busy it was in most areas ( except ours! ), will return there on a Thursday night...

Rude and Racist bouncers

Worst experience in town ever. I visited the blues Kitchen Shoreditch on 5 March 2022. I came with 9 other friends around 11 pm that evening with pre-paid tickets. The bouncers at the door required IDs, though most people in the queue didn’t show their IDs and bouncers didn’t stop entering. I was being compliant, and I showed my ID to your colleague. He then said I should be more polite to him next time. I was confused and asked him when had I been rude to him, then he said, “you are not getting in tonight”. Your bouncers even used his left arm to block me away when I was trying to speak to my friends who had already been let in. I had a fear of imminent physical harm from them.

Earlier, one of the girls in my group joked about our IDs being checked as half of the group were Asian; the bouncers insisted that it wasn’t the case. However, the only people who weren’t let in, my friend and I, are both of Asian descent. They accused me of trespassing “private property” while I was still outside the building and trying to get my friend to get a manager to speak to me.

It was under no ground that I should be in fear of being physically assaulted. Being a 5’2 tall Asian lady and completely compliant with the ID check, I have not acted in any way impolite to your members of staff. I demanded a manager to speak to me in the evening, but of course, it did not happen. As the representatives of Blue Kitchen, your bouncers have acted in a discriminative fashion and had unnecessary physical contact with me. You may wish to look into your CCTV for investigation. I have witnesses who could testify on this occasion, I have also uploaded photo of one of our tickets (we have 10 tickets in total but 2 people weren’t let in)

This was my first experience at Blues Kitchen, and I cannot stress how disappointing and traumatising this experience is. Their bouncers abuse their power and act arbitrarily on who to let in. They could not give me a reason why I was not let in. None of our bags was being checked, so I also doubt if the check was done properly.

I made this complaint to Blue kitchen twice and didn’t receive any response so I have decided to post it here. I will also report this incident to hate crime

The food here is great! I’m a huge fan of their shrimp burger and cheese burger spring rolls. The service is fantastic as well full of friendly staff who are very helpful. I must give a dot idk shout-out to one of the managers Sade, who always checks that everything is going well and makes sure to add cheer to the occasion.

Did the bottomless prosecco brunch, missed it due to the extreme weather conditions and they still honoured our brunch!

Can’t put into words how great our experience was !!! Have been to many a bottomless brunch and usually the food is average and they are stingy on the booze. This was the complete opposite. The vibe was immaculate, the service was amazing - huge thank you to Jodie!!!!!! The food was fab and they were super attentive with topping up the prosecco.
Thank you so much to Jodie for making our experience so good! Will 100% be returning for the next brunch.

I would like to leave this poor review only for Blues Kitchen the Shoreditch branch. I booked the Private room for 15 people 2 months in advance. Room with karaoke system, music system, arcade games and big table for up to 18 people. Disappointing moments - Karaoke system did not work, two members of staff tried to fix it but nothing happen, one of the members who tried to fix the karaoke system called him self a manager but the way he spoke to me when after the second or third time I call someone to fix it and I took my phone out to record he asked me "what the hell are you doing" after that the guy disappeared and we never seen him again. The menu problem, food which was kind of part of the Private room deal was super boring and not the food we wanted to have, as we tried the Blues Kitchen menu before and we also have a 50% off keyring for the members, so the staff member who was responsible for the food menu Luka was super unprofessional, rude, slow and every time when he was talking to me or other guy regarding the menu and options he were saying different stuff, so for us it was a bit weird and we decided to leave the place.

I would like to say big thank you to Jess who was super nice and helpful that night and the other gentleman who aloud us to pay for the drinks and starters and leave.

Two Birthdays were ruined.

Definitely recommend to try Blues Kitchens food in Camden - amazing staff, great live music, yummy food affordable prices.

A great place by all accounts, but will bounce you based on capacity even after having booked in advance. Wouldn’t recommend planning a night around coming here.

Manchester Branch

For the entire night all I could say was STUNNING! Our server Lucy was incredibly friendly, so nice, and was a massive part of why our evening was so lovely. The food was incredible (The Brisket Sandwich + Mac and Cheese). We were celebrating a birthday and Lucy came out with candles in the pudding! We went Wednesday during happy hour, it was a steal! Everything was great value for what you got.
The atmosphere was incredible. I could not recommend enough, and will deffo be going back!

Visited Camden last week had the £10 lunchtime menu with added extras at an additional but affordable extra charge. Had amazing customer service from Cat our waiter. Food was great served quickly and hot! Will be back again.

Having a great time for my sons pre wedding celebrations went to bar with my 2 sons to get some drinks when we were asked to leave when I questioned Phillip as to why we were being asked to leave for no reason at all I was told we had had enough! I will leave it there as it ruined a great afternoon and eve disgusting as It was just to remove us and pile in next lot of party goers shame on you!

3 of the best places in London for live music. Really good bands (mostly rock/blues/soul), excellent PA's, and usually very professional sound engineers too. Site in shoreditch is probably the best looking club in London. Live music every day, door charge only on fri/sat. Food ok, quite a good selection, a bit expensive.

A terrible experience.
On our friends 25th birthday we had reserved a few tables, but they would not let us in because one person looked too drunk (not aggressive, not rude, not loud, simply swaying a bit.). We agreed that him and a couple others would go for a walk and sober up, but suddenly the unpleasant bouncer found problems with someone else, who supposedly had gone on his nerves. We were nothing but polite and cooperative. And now we have lost several pounds in deposit they would not give back. Altogether an unpleasant experience. I will not recommend this bar to anyone. London has so much better to offer. All the best.

Very unfriendly stuff, great food

What a fantastic place! Food was sooooo good! Chicken wings are heavenly. The only thing, that was not as good as expected, was my cocktail. Nonetheless, drinks that my friends ordered were amazing. Highly recommend this place. Make sure to book in advance!
