Great service at a competitive price

I was put in touch with the Boiler Exchange after contacting Veissman for more information on their boilers. Chris called me back promptly and arranged an appointment to come and see the property and discuss options. Chris made a recommendation and give a quote which was competitive with the online boiler retailers. My old boiler actually broke down shortly after Chris visited the property so we had to move the install forward but Chris was very accomodating in getting the install sorted as soon as possible.

On the day of the install, his installer turned up on time, was polite, friendly and did a great job, leaving the install area in a better condition than it was previously. I had a couple of questions about the functions of the boiler after, and Chris called me back promptly to discuss these.

I'd have no hesitations recommending the Boiler Exchange if you are looking for a new boiler. For a similar price to the online retailers, you get a more personal service from a local business, with a tailored recommendation made after seeing your property and discussing your use case/needs. Chris and his team were a pleasure to deal with and provided a great service from start to finish.

We had an emergency over the new year with the old boiler in the flat we're renting out. I'm living abroad and had to organize the whole thing over Whatsapp. I reached out and Chris contacted me immediately (during the New Year bank holiday). Chris made a visit on the 5th of Jan and inspected the problem. He presented me with several solutions over the phone, explaining the pros and cons of each option in detail and the payment options available. Ultimately we chose a new boiler with a 10 year guarantee. Barry and Ethan then arrived the next day and installed the new boiler in no time. Tenant confirmed the flat was toasty that same day. Can't recommend the team enough. Stressful time for me. Freezing time for my tenant. All taken care of within 2 days. Excellent work!

New Veissman Boiler Installation

I would highly recommend The Boiler Exchange to anyone. I had a very positive experience from start to finish. Chris did a great job explaining the work and answering all of my questions during his visit (towards the end of the week).

Barry and Ethan arrived the following Monday to fit and commission the new boiler. They were both very friendly, professional, and they took pride in their work.

New boiler supplied and fitted!

The boiler exchange guys were brilliant, Chris came out on the Monday gave me quotes and had the new boiler fitted on the Wednesday, quick and amazing service. Cannot fault them, would 100% recommend if wanting a new boiler to go with these guys!

Very happy with the service

Got a few quotes before going with the Boiler Exchange and delighted we did. Not only was it more affordable but the service was second to none. We have a 9 month old and were worried it would be disruptive but the install was much quicker than we expected, there was no hidden costs and everything went as smoothly as promised.

Engineers were top class, clearly knew their stuff and were happy to answer any questions we had.

Good...until it wasn't.

Our initial dealings with The Boiler Exchange was very positive. Quick and honest quote, good price and even the installation itself was relatively quick and easy. So immediately after installation I was all set to write a 5 star review. However, customer service should not end once a payment has been made and the follow-up dealings we've had in the months since installation has been slow and poor to the point where we are now being ignored.

Would I recommend The Boiler Exchange to others? I'd have like to say yes but sadly not.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your experience since installation has not been as smooth as expected.

At the point of completion, the boiler and associated system were fully operational. A couple of weeks later, you reported an issue, and we attended promptly to investigate. During our visit it was identified that one of the valves we installed to zone your heating had sustained damage consistent with accidental customer damage. We repaired the component during that visit and confirmed the system was working correctly before leaving.

When the issue resurfaced several weeks later, it appeared that a replacement valve may now be required. As this relates to accidental customer damage rather than an installation fault, any further work falls outside the scope of our workmanship guarantee. However, we appreciate the inconvenience this has caused and are happy to assist on a goodwill basis.

This is an exceptionally busy period for heating engineers, but we are committed to helping you resolve this. We will be in touch to arrange a suitable date for early January to carry out the necessary work.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, and please be assured that we want you to remain fully satisfied with your heating system and our service.

Outstanding Work from Chris and His Team

My boiler packed in on Tuesday morning, after a quick search for boilers in glasgow and inputting some details, Chris, the owner called me back very quickly and was out at our home that same afternoon. He talked us through our options clearly and even offered to fit the boiler on Thursday, which was amazing but we just couldn’t make the timing work with our jobs.

The boiler was delivered yesterday and fitted today with effortless precision. Barry and Ethan were super friendly, efficient, and genuinely respectful of our home from start to finish.

Chris and his team were simply amazing professional, thoughtful, and incredibly reassuring throughout.

Highly recommended — they turned a stressful moment into something surprisingly smooth and easy

Amazing Company

I contacted the Boiler Exchange and they responded straight away and arranged for Chris to come out the next day. Chris was really helpful and understood what we were looking for. He was able to arrange an installation date really quickly, as we had no hot water. Barry and Ethan who installed the boiler were amazing, installing the new boiler and setting up Hive and the app. Service has been great from start to finish and we would definitely recommmend them.

Fantastic company!

The buisness owner came to my house and was very approachable, down to earth and helpful. He was the one who talked me through their product range and what I needed done. As a young woman getting work done can feel daunting but the company made the whole process so easy and stress free.

The men that completed the work were friendly but worked hard. They were knowledgeable and helped me install my hive which has been a fantastic product.

The fees for yearly maintaince are so reasonable as well. Thanks so much!

Very professional and trustworthy…

Very professional and trustworthy company to deal with.

Chris has been in the business for quite a while and obviously knows his stuff.

Fitters Barry and Ethan arrived on time, got on with the job in hand without any fuss and were out the door again by mid afternoon.

Great job done for a very reasonable price compared to other quotes I was given to replace my old boiler.

Highly recommended.
