My experience with The Career Coach has been quite disappointing, especially considering the high cost of their services (£600).

What they offer is extremely basic: CV and cover letter templates, general LinkedIn advice (which you have to implement yourself), and preparation for non-technical interviews. For professionals in specialized fields like engineering, their services are particularly limited, as the assigned coaches, while friendly, lack the technical knowledge required to provide useful guidance for technical interviews.

Despite working with them for 6 months, I was unable to secure any position. The company has no business connections nor offers any added value beyond what one could find in free online resources. Additionally, I experienced issues with unauthorized additional charges to my account.

The most concerning aspect is the value for money. The £600 fee is excessive for the basic services they provide, especially considering they offer no specialized support or network of contacts to facilitate job searching.

I do not recommend their services, particularly to technical professionals seeking specialized guidance in their field. There are better alternatives available that offer greater value for a fraction of the cost.

Janette is really helpful and gives good advice. She makes everyone comfortable and answers all the questions which fulfils the need for this programme.

I've tried my best to start but I haven't been getting response from them. I have paid them the amount required but after that there is career navigator which asks for 86£/ month which i am not able to afford. Apparently im supposed to get it for free 30 days but it still requires you to add your card. They assigned me a coach who wasnt related to my field and when i asked to change they took one month to respond. I am still reaching them out but no response and they dont refund.

Janette gives more attention to details and flags what you can improve the way you explain in an interview. Genuinely she listens and respond to yiur queries. I am learning so many things from her.

Janete is a great and spontaneous professional. She covers the subject very clearly, ensuring that every detail matters, even a simple question to ask in a job interview. I highly recommend her.

Overall, it was a good experience. The tips are useful and the coach is very supportive. However, the cost is a bit high and it takes a long time to wait for a coach to be arranged.

Career Coach transformed my job search! I had been struggling to get any responses, but after working on my CV and LinkedIn profile with them, I’m already seeing interest from recruiters. Their guidance helped me feel confident and motivated. Highly recommended for anyone feeling out of touch with today’s job market!

I was looking for a new job, so I hired TCC. In my case, I don't recommend it, because I didn't have a place to hold the meetings, which lasted at least 3 to 4 weeks. To get a place, the 4 sessions took about 3 months. I liked the meetings, but I thought they were very low cost-benefit, because the price I paid was high, and despite applying the techniques, I didn't get a new job. I liked the course videos, I think they're very easy and educational, and they're very similar to the consultants' tips. I would really like to have another opinion, but saying that I'll get a job in 30 days, when they don't even have any vacancies for consultants, I don't think it's feasible. My consultant gave me some good tips, but again, I think it's very expensive for what they deliver. I wish everyone success, but unfortunately, that's just my opinion.

I have found the career coach services to be good. They were all very friendly and helpful, Janette has been my coach and was able to pivot the sessions quickly when I secured an interview. I found it super helpful in being able to focus on the most relevant points given a pretty short turnaround to interview. I did find the program to be a little expensive at 4 sessions for EUR600 but overall happy with it.

I have recently commenced the career changer programme with The Career Coach .My reason for undertaking was to evaluate possible career change options along with updating my approach to the job market .I have found the coach I am working with most helpful so far .We have a number of sessions to complete and as such I cannot fully evaluate program at this time .Looking forward to more positive engagement with the team @ TCC as we proceed.

I had an amazing coaching session with Jannet. While I had a good CV with the help of Chatgpt there were a lot of loopholes which Jannet helped me fix and guided me as to how you should taylor your CV to match the job description of the role you intend to apply for. I have also immensely benifitted from her tips to prepare for the interviews as well! Overall good experience!

This was actually very useful. While working with Ian Hutchinson he helped me get prepared for what I have to improve on. Always giving me corrections to work on, pointing out my mistakes and always being there to talk on zoom call. I know the price is expensive but I would really recommend using career coaches for their incredible training and teaching.

I have been working with Sean as my career coach and he has been so helpful with my job applications. It has truly been a great experience so far.
