I am a new customer and service has been good. The initial point of contact was very helpful in explaining the options. Had an issue recently and they actually answer the phone and you can talk to a real human, on this occasion it was Mickyle who was extremely professional and helpfully resolved the issue.

Raidah on the customer team was a brilliant help, very friendly and professional and provided the support needed to get an issue sorted out, most greatful!

Extremely disappointing service.

We have been paying for this waste collection service for over 6 months, yet not a single collection has taken place. Our waste has never been collected once.

I have contacted the customer service team more than 10 times, and every time I receive polite responses and promises that the issue has been passed to another team. However, nothing ever changes and no action is taken.

Instead of solving the problem, they keep using the same scripted replies and delaying the issue. Paying for a service that is never delivered is completely unacceptable.

I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

Terrible company who do NOT pick up waste. I live in Westminster and have reported that First Mile who are responsible for commercial waste do not pick it up!

I had been having ongoing issues with waste collection for my business, and it was becoming a real problem. Thankfully, the operative, Julian, was incredibly professional, efficient, and helpful. He took the time to understand the situation, communicated clearly throughout, and quickly found a solution that resolved everything.

Julian went above and beyond to make sure the issue was sorted, and his positive attitude and excellent customer service made what had been a stressful experience so much easier. Patchy service and poor customer service. They contract out their collections which are patchy - missed collections on a regular basis. No one at the company man’s the phones over the weekend. No one ever responds to emails. We’re going back to suez. There really is a gap in the market for a waste company that actually works consistently.

Organised with Julian clearance of a large amount of damaged stock in bags, broken 10ft mirror frame and various other items and I must say that the 2 members of First Mile's team that came to do the job were absolutely fantastic!
Professional, friendly and very helpful they did an amazing job quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend this service.

Needed a quote for a collection, Natalie was so helpful, very quick with responses, given a decent quote and same day collection, very pleased with first mile hence why we always use them for our collections. I would highly recommend, Big thanks to Natalie for all your help.

Shameless, avoid at all costs and needs investigating by trading standards.

We've been waiting for a resolution to a formal complaint for 1.5 months and nothing has occured. I even wrote to the CEO and that didn't get us anywhere either, which sort of summarises the arrogance and complacency of the company.

Just remember when you book a collection for a specific day, even if you're polite and give them second and third chances to collect on alternative days, they will always cancel on you even if you make it abundantly clear that you are moving out that week.

They gladly wasted 21 hours of my life and my company's time and I get the impression that, behind the scenes, they find it quite funny. I also believe that they were recently taken over by private equity. No surprises there.
