As a graphic designer I need good…

As a graphic designer I need good vendors for output projects and I use this place for all of my foil projects. I use them for corporate clients and will use them for my wedding invites too. They do a great job, are thorough in their proof process and their turnaround time is typically 10 days shipping from UK to US.

Confused with no recourse

As of writing this (July 16), I still haven't received my prints ordered on April 7. I've sent the files three times. I've had to sift through a novel of emails to straighten out the situation. At no point in this order's journey did employees give me the impression they looked into the order's history. Responses to my concerns came from several different employees. And responses meaning, replies to my emails, not my specific questions. Some responding to the email thread attached to the order, some disparate and replying to threads in unrelated orders, for what reason I cannot guess.

In all of the communication, I can only assume there is a serious issue with their order software re: order numbers and files associated. In almost all email responses, employees reference incorrect projects and do not have the correct files that have been sent. I just assumed they'd be able to look up the order by the number as I've done. Or reference the email thread to which they are replying.

I'm not sure what to think and I'm trying to do some due diligence on the situation. I order prints of every size regularly and as a small business this has happened a few times before and held up things on my end. This in turn impacts my ability to be reliable and trustworthy as a sole proprietor. I really like the work that they do but as it stands cannot recommend them as a vendor. Attention to detail is very low.

Terrible customer service & incorrect dispatch dates

I am writing in to report the most terrible customer service experience I have ever had with any company I've ever worked with.

This is in regards to the "help" I received from Liam Smith on my most recent order. Liam was so incredibly rude and dismissive it was almost unbelievable. Your company made a mistake on my invoice and stated that my prints would be done in 4 working days. When I was upset that my prints wouldn't be dispatched in 4 working days like my invoice showed, I was met with dismissal, indifference, and brusque behavior. Not once did Liam ever apologize for the mistake or provide any solutions or offer to make anything right. All he did was write in a very condescending way, blamed me for not reading the website correctly (which is bogus) and then kept on leaving the looming threat of canceling my order in almost every email. I would highly recommend not letting this man work with any customers as he is rude, condescending, and has made it so that I will never use this company again. I will be going back to fastprinting.com where I feel valued as a customer.

Also, not only did I not have my order dispatched in the 4 working days stated in my invoice, nor 5 working days, which is what they stated was the correct time... it took 6 working days to dispatch my order which is the normal dispatch time. Not sure why I paid so much extra for rush service when my order was dispatched on the 6th working day.

I am a small business owner and when I make a mistake, I do not blame and talk down to my customers, I do everything in my power to fix it. And at the very least I apologize and try to make things right. The way my situation was handled was extremely unprofessional and quite frankly, one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

I hope you take this review into account for the future and I really hope you do not let Mr. Liam Smith handle any more customer service inquiries.

Disappointed

I had ordered cards from Foil Printing Co two years ago, and didn't think twice about ordering from them again this year, after having a great experience with them. Unfortunately it seems in the past two years, they raised their prices and diminished their quality of service. I ordered a third of the quantity from 2020 but it costed the same. Additionally, a proof was promised within one working day, but I had to poke them after 3 working days after not hearing any updates. My point of contact apologized and made it seem like they hadn't even started on the design, and promised a proof within an hour. Unfortunately, I didn't receive the proof until the next day. From then, we continued to receive slow responses and will definitely not be ordering from them again.

Overly Priced and Poor Quality.

I would not recommend spending what they charge when you can get better products from more affordable printers. No proofing service and no help to proof, much poorer quality than expected.

I am an experienced designer who has printed foils in many places, this place is not worth the hype.

Great customer service

Great customer service, amazing quality products. They don’t offer super quick shipping but I have never had an issue with a delayed order or incorrect products. Helpful and so much better than rival companies.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. My order took longer than estimated to create, so I asked if I could change my shipping address in order to get it to the correct destination in the right amount of time. New address was confirmed via email with customer service. Then two days later I received shipment notification that order was shipped -- to the wrong address. I sent a few emails, did not hear back, so I called customer service. I spoke with someone who told me she would take care of it and call me back. I never received a call back, and when I tried to call back could not get through to anyone. Of course this happened on a Friday, and I did not hear from anyone until Monday afternoon when the order was delivered that it was not possible to change the address. The address could have been changed on Thursday or Friday, when I contacted the company in regards to their error, however they failed to provide adequate response or communication. I wont be using them again, looks like they produce nice work but I need a reliable printer.
