Scam. They will send you text messages and when you reply STOP it will charge you £4.5. Exchanged few messages with the owner and he is not the nicest bloke.

Reply: Correct, my mobile operator sets the charge but it was YOU who set up that premium text message and it is YOU who receives revenue from it. The nasty thing about it is that you do not inform that there may be a charge for simply wanting to opt out from the newsletter. It’s hidden cost and an unfair business practice which I have already reported.

I just won a Gibson Les Paul Gold Top from The Guitar Marketplace last week. I got the email saying I'd won and the guitar arrived a few days later.Totally great experience. I've been using this company for a while and like any other raffle, it's the luck of the draw, which fortunately it was my turn to win this week. Many thanks.

I have asked them numerous times to stop sending me texts, they replied once telling me to use the link in the texts to ‘exit’, the link doesn’t work. Asked them repeatedly to stop and told them the ‘exit’ link doesn’t work but they still send texts. No way to close my account from their website, I’m totally fed up with their amateurish attitude but can’t get rid of them. Don’t use this site if you don’t want constant spam from them. I have blocked them from my texts several times but they keep coming through. ANNOYING!

I won a Slash Gibson Les Paul. I was contacted the night of the draw and then received the guitar the following week. Guitar was great and I’m very happy.

Postal entries are allowed, but never seem to get entered.

I was a bit over excited and spent a couple of hours dancing around the room. There were a few doubters about my win, but I had nothing to worry about. I was contacted the next day and the guitar was delivered the next week. It’s a stunning guitar - Absolutely Brilliant!!

I won a guitar a while back, with an instant win ticket, got the guitar (a player tele) quickly and in good nick, so I know theyre a legit company, and not a scam.
But the instantly win competitions look different now. Before, it showed up on the page straight away when prizes are won, but now, It takes like three or four minutes before the prizes show up as won. I know that because I won a small prize a couple of weeks ago, and i was watching the page and refreshing. It was at least three minutes before it showed up that I won it on the competition page. people were buying tickets, but one of the prizes had gone

I don't know why it's changed that way, but it doesn't seem right. you can buy a ticket thinking prizes are available, but someone else already won them. as well as that, the number of tickets sold for the main competitions ALWAYS jumps right at the end, like 400 tickets suddenly got bought in the last five minutes. don't know why that is, doesnt make sense to me. Maybe theres innocent reasons, but it's definitely changed, and looks proper fishy.

I received the guitar in the very good condition as it was described on the site.

Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to see an upgrade of locking tuners and that the nut had been filed to accomodate higher gauge strings than the stock string gauge.

It was set up nicely, comfortable to play and sounded good.

I was notified I'd won on the Friday and my guitar arrived on the follow Tuesday in great condition. The parcel was well packed and safely padded.
They always have a good selection of guitars in the competitions.

Recently come across these guys.. checked them out and all good. Always sign up for the free giveaways but I have also entered into a few guitar competitions too (I have never won which is fair enough its just pure luck at the end of the day) However.. I did get an email to say that I had won the 3x Fender Guitar Leads on the giveaway which I was obviously over the moon about. It was from Jacob to say i’d won and to confirm that the address they had on file was correct. I did in their defence state to allow them 2 days to acknowledge my response and then they would advise when they would send the item and provide me with tracking information. 5 days go by and I have no had anything from then about dispatching or tracking so as you would you send a polite chase email to confirm they got my email to confirm my details. Another 4 days go by and still no response from them so again I sent a chase email to try and grab their attention. Its now been 2 weeks since I got the original email to say id won. Now again I understand its a free giveaway but come on.. it would be nice to at least of had a response from you. Really really poor service in my opinion and I would be more annoyed if I had spent money on an actual competition and was getting this level of service. Do winners get their prize? Totally put me off now moving forward. I don't expect a response to this either but wanted to make future customers aware… I hope they see this and can action their customer service to improve it in the future as its really poor in my opinion.

Won an amazing Custom Shop Stratocaster. Delivered a week later. Website easy to use and comms clear. Perhaps some slightly optimistic timelines suggested in default emails, but all good within a few days.

I've also sold a guitar to these guys via Fat Bottom Guitars which was listed on the site pretty quickly and hopefully is now making someone else happy.

Brilliant customer service I brought a winning ticket on Friday evening contact on Saturday and a guitar on Tuesday really pleased company keeps to their word

The guitar is in great condition and is a joy to play. The delivery was quick and adequately packed with no major complaints. Look forward to playing some more!

Haven't been lucky enough to win a big prize, but have won a couple of small prizes in their free draws. Communication was great and prizes delivered in reasonable time. I'd recommend them.
