House lights customer service team are incredibly helpful, efficient and solution based!! These days it’s so hard to find the right person to speak to when something goes wrong but at house lights we found immediate answers to our problem (a delivery incident where the parcels arrived damaged) the team have been friendly and quick to resolve

As for the product. Photo attached!! It looks amazing and we get compliments all the time. It looks very expensive and well worth what we spent.

I hadn’t done my homework and this is a Chinese company exporting to the UK. The website had customer photographs and 5 star reviews of what was utter tat when it came almost one month after ordering (despite the website saying 5 working days).
You get what you pay in pay for. If a stunning light would be £600-1000 in the UK and there are apparently kosher lights getting rave reviews for less than £200, then there’s a rabbit off.
Sadly, I missed the rabbit and believed the spin. I’ll have to do a credit card charge back.

I bought a beautiful chandelier from Thehouselights after comparing prices of other retailers. I have since had communication with their returns department as I had misjudged the space I was going to hang the chandelier. I am very impressed with the speed and manner with which my returns issue was addressed. Five stars for their customer service and their product. It’s given me the confidence to buy again from Thehouselights.

Beautiful lights. We ordered 2 chandeliers for our vaulted ceiling, good quality, glass, with a modern twist.
Initially the delivery company only delivered one, the other lost in transit. After contacting the houselights company by email, they quickly send out a replacement while they tracked the missing item. You are unable to ring the company, but they are very responsive by email, and the issue was quickly resolved.
I would buy from this company again, we are very happy with the product, the quality and overall service 🤩

The items were delivered quickly by Evri. The quality was exceptionally poor, with no proper fixing and I'm very doubtful that it would comply with UK regulations. It weighed about half of what a comparable light of that size weighs. I requested a refund the following day and was told that they would give me a refund of 20% if I kept the lights. If you look at their terms and conditions you will see that they don't say that they will give a full refund. I said that I was unwilling to keep them and wanted a full refund. I was told to go to the post office and send it to their warehouse to be delivered during their warehouse working hours and left at the door. They have no proper returns system. I then looked at the very poor reviews on Trustpilot, which I suspect are the genuine ones. So at that stage I contacted Citizens Advice who gave me the number for the UK International Consumer Centre as by this stage I had established that they were a Chinese company who aren't governed by UK consumer legislation. They advised against returning the items as I would probably end up being out of pocket for that too. They are seeing increasing number of scams by Chinese companies. They have taken on my case and have advised me to go down the Section 75/chargeback route. I would be very wary of reviews on their website as the poor one that I submitted wasn't included on their website although three positive reviews going back up to 3 years for this product seem to have been added since I submitted my poor one. My advice would be to avoid this company at all costs and to avoid foreign companies so that you are covered by UK consumer protection legislation. You can establish the name of the company from their VAT registration number and foreign companies are registered for VAT in Aberdeen.

Really excellent customer service. A little hitch on delivery time but they went above and beyond to sort and they did. Light is fabulous. I am thrilled with it and everyone who sees it (you can’t miss it!) smiles. I really recommend. I was reading the reviews where someone mentions products are not super high end. I get that but I think that’s what makes the product so charming. It looks effortless even though it is a huge statement. Beautiful and fun. Thank you.

Terrible service taken ages to deliver, delivery sent back and then supposedly try to redeliver (this never happened check our camera and some in all day )

We used The house lights for all of our indoor lights for a full house renovation. I used the online code given and got a really good discount. They all arrived very prompt and exactly how they were displayed on the site. Extremely satisfied with this company and will definitely be using them for all our outdoor lighting and highly recommend

My order didn’t arrived via Evri. The issue was quickly resolved by the company and a new light was sent via a different courier. Very happy with the light and service

We love our new light. It took a while to arrive, due to an issue with the courier (Evri), but that wasn’t the light house company’s fault.
I would buy from them again.

Scandinavian Dimmable Wood LED Flush Mount Light
I love the sleek modern Scandinavian design of these ceiling lights. They go well in my sixties house and have been much admired. The thick wood surround gives a quality look and the slim profile works well as my ceilings are not very high. The ability to vary the light tone and brightness make them versatile for use in any room.
Customer service in resolving issues via email was quick, efficient and professional.

I received a damaged lamp because the shipment wasn't inspected until after the house renovations were completed, so I filed a complaint after 30 days. I received a quick response and a guarantee that despite reporting the problem so late, they would send me a replacement part. I had to meet one condition: leave a 5-star rating and a positive review. I met this requirement and trust the seller's honesty in fulfilling his promise and sending me a replacement part. The lamp is beautiful. Contact with customer service was seamless.

Excellent communication throughout the process. Easy ordering, and delivery within the week (was concerned about this after reading other reviews)
The lights were very well packaged (had also been a concern). Photographs were taken but not sure how to add to this review. Not fully unpacked yet as they are for our new home which has yet to be decorated; this is the only reason for 4 stars
