Regenyei custom swords are manufactured individually to order, and the advertised 12-week lead time was always an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date. Unfortunately, due to ongoing demand and production backlogs at the factory, some orders are taking considerably longer than originally anticipated.
As a retailer, we rely on the manufacturer to provide updates on production schedules. Unfortunately, the factory does not routinely notify us when individual orders are delayed, meaning we are not always aware of revised timescales until we specifically request an update. We appreciate that this can be frustrating, but we generally contact customers when we have new information to share rather than providing updates when there has been no change.
In recognition of the increasingly unpredictable production times, we have now updated our website to state "Manufactured to Order – Can take up to 6 months", providing customers with a more realistic expectation before placing an order.
We completely understand that waiting longer than anticipated is disappointing, which is why we offered you the option of a full refund rather than asking you to continue waiting.
We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. We remain committed to providing quality products and transparent information about manufacturing lead times.
