It’s a relief to not have to worry about ordering and stock piling my contraceptive. I use the lowdown to send me 3 months of contraceptive patches every 3 months and it’s never been easier to stay baby scare free!!!

I went to the Low Down for emergency contraception, because I love their site and it helped me to avoid the awkward moment with my local Boots Chemist. I was super impressed with how easy this service is. My pill was with me in 48 hours and everything was ok. The Low Down made me feel like I had it all under control (which I maybe didn't). I've also used this site to access birth control before travelling abroad, which was really seamless and easy. Great service that has everything I'm looking for when it comes to contraception.

So easy to use, very prompt with replies and is just a great way to look into anything to do with female health! Very few services like it which is what makes it so great. Not only that, but you can read reviews from thousands of woman's experiences which aids greatly in choosing what works for you.

This company was great but now awful! They don’t answer WhatsApp messages they have not sent my full prescription. Truly abysmal . Avoid

Personal and knowledgeable advice that has helped me decide how best to use contraception moving forward

I had my consultation with Dr Becky Mawson and she was absolutely amazing! I felt so listened to and she gave me some amazing advice, especially considering other reproductive issues that make birth control difficult. She didn’t push any options for me and really worked to come up with a solution that considered all my concerns. I’m so glad I booked this and would recommend it to anyone!

Dr. Melanie was fantastic - she was easy to talk to, incredibly knowledgeable, sympathetic, and full of great recommendations. I feel fully confident approaching my own Doctor with exactly how I want to proceed with HRT. This is a very affordable investment that I've made in my own long-term health.

I could not believe my luck when I found The Low Down. As someone in perimenopause who had recently been put on the pill to counter its effects, it was fundamental not to skip any days, and I had found myself running out of my brand of pill. After a lot of research and checking reviews as well, I went easily trough the questionnaire and was able to subscribe. Service is impeccable and friendly and support is sooo extensive. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to be in charge of their hormonal health!

Best £45 I've ever spent. For the first time in years I felt like I was finally speaking to an expert in contraception; when speaking to GPs or Nurses generally, I've always had such conflicting information and it has been incredibly confusing. I'd highly recommend this service and Dr Mel was fantastic.

This was honestly the best appointment I’ve ever had with a doctor. I felt like the GP who I spoke to truly listened to me. She was so knowledgeable and understanding that just talking about how I’ve been feeling felt like a huge weight off my mind. Her follow up notes were so detailed too and were obviously written for me and not just a copy and paste job. I’ve already recommended to friends and family. Best £45 I’ve spent in a long time :)

Friendly with great information and was really informative to see how others had reviewed the contraception I was interested in. Super convenient too and loved the accurate and up to date information for every option. I always get so annoyed when I go to my GP and either have to really strongly push for the options I want, or find that the options I want aren't reliably available locally. This was a breeze by comparison!

Will not get contraception anywhere else now. Most informed health professionals on women's issues I've ever encountered, including most consultant gynaecologists.

It was like chatting to an old friend (and it was actually my 1st consultation)🙂. Dr Fran made me feel completely at ease and offered a lot of reassurance and guidance (even with a couple of unrelated issues, which I really do appreciate ❤️). And considering my appointment took place 7.30pm Sunday, I had my plan emailed me 8am Monday! Cannot fault the service. Keep up the good work!

I honestly wish I had found the fantastic team at The Lowdown a year ago! After a horrendous week of the most horrible period and a trip to A&E I booked in with Dr Fran. She was so helpful, calm and positive and just got it. She made me feel 10000 times better and I now have a plan for new pills and IUD. So quick, easy and just really really good. Highly recommended.
