Broke twice in less than a year
The stick stopped working twice in about 10 months. Both times, it got replaced under warranty, but it's still disappointing, as it obviously prevents me from using it for a few weeks each time. Now, I'm not confident that the third one will last very long and the warranty will expire soon...

I have owned one of the original MeatStick thermometer which was good. I recently purchased the MeatStick V, absolutely love it way more functional and battery life is phenomenal. I will be getting another, just wish they had the color rings for easy identification.

Issue Easily & Quickly Resolved
I had an issue with my ChefX MeatStick and was able to have the problem assessed by the MS team who then sent me a replacement shortly after.

I've had my meatsticks for a few years…
I've had my meatsticks for a few years and only used them a handful of times and 2 out of 3'stopped working. When I contacted customer service there was no phone number only emails to communicate with the company. I started my inquiry on October 4th 2024 and it took until the end of December to get an offer of 50 percent of a new meatsticks. Extremely poor customer service it took weeks in-between for emailed correspondence. Plus the fact I only used the product 4-5 times before they quit working....and yes I did the software updates.

Accurate
First Bluetooth thermometer and I couldn’t be happier! Was worried connection issues would throw off the accuracy of the internal temp. But that wasn’t the case. Super easy to set up and customer service has a quick response time.

Simpelthen det ringeste og dyreste…
Simpelthen det ringeste og dyreste termometer jeg har haft.
De få gange jeg har haft held med at få det i gang har det taget 10-15 min.
I dag har jeg bøvlet med det igen uden held, app kan ikke finde termometer, det er så latterligt, suk.
App er desuden elendig 😞 jeg kan kun opfordre til at købe andet fabrikat.

Fix Your App
The stick itself works great, the app however needs a lot of work. It's very clunky and not very reliable for connecting the device to your phone. It took way too long to pair it to my Samsung S22, so it's not like I had an old phone. Customer support was useless as they never responded to my request for help. I had to hard reset the device using a paperclip on the reset button many times to get it to finally connect to my phone. But I will once connected it's a pretty neat tool.

Meatstick is Not Awesome
Well, since I was a valued customer and already had a large bundle with a couple sticks, charger, and wifi bridge. Then on Thanksgiving Week, I get a happy gobble gobble to vip's and now $129 more and you won't keep losing connections! And you can go out and buy that Turkey Fryer Kit because now ur probably can be in the fryer! And...before I purchased, I sent an email to support at the meatstick, asking if this new probe is compatible with my over $300 investment!...but it took 9 days to get an answer!!! I didn't say minutes..so, since you can't adjust the holiday that much, I took a chance and ordered...and then...to my disbelief...all the OTHER products I ordered for my feast arrived...like Malcolm Reed's Rubs from OK..and in my mail to support at the meatstick, I further told them that why are they Including a Free Extender for V5 for Gibble-Gobble!! WTF.....don't forget I found out 9 days later that it wasn't compatible! Then the app needed updating, installed the stick after charging, but couldn't connect the base to wifi....totally ruined my cook...then days later, I receive a notification that my samsung note8 is a tad older android and needs location and permissions enabled where's newer version doesn't need it! You need meatstick red app! Ok, download it...and no V5 available, even if you enable location and on top preferences..

Service Help
I received the ordered MeatStick X promptly. The Meatstick would not connect to my MeatStick App which made it impossible to use with my pellet smoker. I wrote two requests for help and I have not heard back from your company. Very disappointed. I did research on my own found that my problem was a need to update my app with a Red program. Now it works. Would have been nice if the the MeatStick company would have told me how to fix my problem. The Meatstick X still does not charge my probes.

Your tech support is one of the worst I have seen. It took over 1 month and 9 emails to get a charger exchanged. The least email before you all shipped it you tried to upsell me to the most recent version at full price. The price quoted didn't reflect current prices, it was 30% higher. Really bad. I will not recommend your company for anything.
