Absolutely outstanding service. James our advisor is so communicative and helpful. We didn’t have the most straightforward application and he was so tentative and helpful right the way through the process. We also had contact with Samantha who was equally helpful, no questions were too much trouble for either and we are so grateful for the help they have given us. Couldn’t fault them in any way! In a 2 minute call, Tom understood our needs and provided the overview of the market we were looking for - where other brokers would begin a tedious series of questionnaires and phone calls.

Overall, far easier than our previous experience of dealing directly with the lender, and with cashback on top. Wouldn't hesitate to use The Mortgage Genie again.

I would like to thank Franco and Samantha for their help during the process especially as this was my first mortgage and I had so many questions.

The company were great, they kept in contact and both Franco and Sam were very polite and friendly. As well as professional. We got our mortgage relatively stress free keep up the great work.

Service was fine in the beginning as my application is fairly simple for them I guess. They promised cashback for applying through them and for recommending friends to them, but I never get the cashback from my successful application and from recommending my friend to apply through them. Tried to contact them a few times for this matter, but never get any response. If your application is straightforward, just apply it yourself to save a few hundred quid.

I contacted this company for a remortgage quotation for a BTL. The agent took the basic details and provided me with a product which looked good. When I was about to apply for the product I get an email from the broker telling me that the product is not for BTL but a residential only product, and he now offers me another product which is very expensive in comparison. I ended up wasting time and effort and now have to start the search again. This is blatant cheating to get all confidential information and not offering me the promised product on the market. I suppose not all brokers do this- but I surely found the wrong one here. Please do not use this company, and save yourself money and peace of mind.

My mortgage has been declined in May 22 and found this company on the internet.

I have liaised with them, explained all my case with all details. The guy on the phone said "the broker you have used before is not good at all, they don't know anything. Don't worry I will find you a mortgage"

Then I have spent so much time with them, send all documents etc. And the next day he called and said "Due to the scenario I am unable assist." I have asked what is the blockage do you think and he said "due to the company policy I cannot share the reason with you" !! And after that point, he saw very rude.

Then I have found myself a real broker, and get my mortgage in one week.

If you have a rather complex case, don't spend time with them and find yourself a real broker who can direct you to the correct lender..

Although our house move ultimately fell through for other reasons, James and Josh at Mortgage Genie went the extra mile and spent a lot of time with HSBC to ensure that my mortgage rate was secured during a crazy period in the market. I am really grateful for their service and I would not hesitate to use Mortgage Genie again the next time I need a mortgage broker.

Excellent service and communication. With rates changing quickly, James found us a great deal at short notice before further changes happened. Overall would definitely recommend.

I was very impressed by the speed and quality of the team and Mortgage Genie.

I put in my initial info early in the morning as I had become frustrated by my previous broker being slow and was contacted mid morning to let me know that the product they recommended was about to be pulled. This was the same product my previous broker had recommended.

They guided me through getting all of the paperwork sorted in time for the deadline saving me a significant sum on my mortgage. The other company emailed a few days later saying I'd missed out on the mortgage but had failed to give me a heads up on it.

The support through the process was excellent with both Jake and Sam being incredibly clear what was needed from me and by when.

I would happily use them again.
