J’ai utilisé PDF Guru pour une simple conversion de document, pensant payer un service ponctuel.
Sans aucune information claire, un abonnement de 49,90 € a été activé automatiquement.

Heureusement, j’ai repéré à temps un prélèvement programmé et j’ai dû contacter ma banque pour le faire annuler.
J’ai également supprimé mon compte et résilié l’abonnement, mais je recommande vivement de vérifier vos relevés si vous avez utilisé ce site.

Le service manque de transparence et peut piéger facilement.
Je déconseille fortement.

First the document convertion seems to work, then you pay, and then it does not work anymore. This is simply a scam!

Signed up for €1.99 trial. Cancelled within 7 days and within EU 14-day withdrawal period. Still charged €49.99. PayPal sided with merchant despite cancellation confirmation. Be careful with auto-renewal terms.

It says it's free. No it's not.

Used a one off .99 PDF then Cancelled immediately, but NOPE! They hit my Card 3X for .99 consecutively. Then I cancelled again and Still got hit for .99 then 49.99 after that and I DIDNT EVEN HAVE IT !!

This company operates a good scam. It's nearly impossible to cancel the exorbitant contract after you put in payment details for a nominal one-time use.

The same standard scam, but in my case covered up by PayPal acting a protection. I note intentionally restrictive and obscure PayPal complaint submission procedure. And incredibly limited (cheap) LLM they use on entry and perhaps as a "judge". While it is a clear de facto criminal collusion of two businesses, with the purpose and intent to rob a client, this might be one of the first illustrations of what happens when two Customer Support LLMs /Agents (PayPal's and PDF Guru) each searching for respective tactics to optimize their respective profit. The result is that small customer is calculated out, and then complaint submission procedure is further optimized to make even submitting complaints nearly impossible. The loop is also created when PDF Guru refers to PayPal's decision in PDF Guru favor. And Appeals on the decision they automatically refuse - in fact, from PayPal it comes straight with the refusal to return the money for the illegal charge by PDF Guru

Scammer, fraud, stay away! This service asks you to pay 0.99 to use it for a week and then they charge you 49.99 the next month without warning! This is classic scamming tactics! Stay away, do not ever, ever use them!

This company is a scam! I dont know how they got my credit card details, but they charged me about 50 USD/mo 10x. Am now disputing with my credit card company.

I am scammed by this criminals. they know exactly what they are doing. Quick to apologise I reported them already.

This company doesn't deserve even one star. It is shocking how easily they can trap you into unwittingly having a subscription with them thinking you have paid for a one off document. They refuse to accept any responsibility and keep quoting their online terms which are not obvious. It is robbery by another name. Please don't get caught out like me.

I hate them. I already am frustrated writing my thesis sleepless and after trimming a pdf, i have to give them my e-mail. not cool. so i give them my data and next thing you know, they ask for money

I got scammed today, and found out that they have been charging my card without me know for the past 2 months after using their one off service. No email confirmation, nothing was sent to me, its ridiculous, STAY AWAY!!!!

This company uses a misleading subscription model.

They are sold 3 days of premium access, but after that you are automatically enrolled into an expensive monthly subscription (around $60) without a clear warning, reminder, or explicit confirmation.

I only needed the service for three days and did not plan to continue using it. The charge was made unexpectedly. When I contacted support immediately, the refund was refused, with the explanation that payments are “non-refundable according to policy.”

This company lures you with impossibly low charged of less than $2 for "lifetime" subscription, then charges you $49.99 a month using clauses in their small print. The email addresses on their website are fake - connected to nothing and otherwise reputable companies like Paypal are enablers who should blacklist them immediately

Not a trustworthy company, ticks you to auto sign a high prices subscription, very expensive, 100% cancellation rate. DO NOT USE or TRUST this company

When I signed up for trial there was no information on the email that I would be automatically signed up to 49.99 annual subscription. When I contacted the company they gave me the link from their website that I had signed up and was not due a refund.
