Theranest does well until there is a glitch, it does not mess up for me often which I love. When it does not save or will not let me sign and save notes it really causes disasters for me. That would be a wonderful fix, but as a whole it is easy to use and useful.
Theranest is intuitive
Theranest is intuitive and easy to use. And when you run into struggles, help is quick to answer questions and check in with you until your needs have been met.

It was user friendly. There were different ways to see the information and I always felt confident while utilizing the program. I would have encouraged the use of more features and maybe receiving reminders about incomplete entries and time sensitive information would have been helpful.

Treatment plans need to continuously update to the same working document not a different version each time you click on it. It is VERY FRUSTRATING to work on a treatment plan just to have it disappear. Then to go back and either finish or add to TP and all info has to be reentered.

I love the practicality of the many features of TheraNest.
An Overall Great Platform
I have used this platform as an intern at a therapist's office for almost a year now, and I have been able to manage my clients very well on it. I am a blind individual and have found TheraNest to be very accessible, for the most part. The only issue I have experienced relates to submitting treatment plans, as I have struggled to do so in the way that is built into the site, as opposed to the Wiley treatment plans, which appear to only allow for one goal. Other visually-impaired therapists have told me this platform is inaccessible, but it has clearly improved, as I have been able to perform all other functions, such as scheduling appointments, filling out assesment forms, and completing documentation of sessions without any problems. However, my experience shows that this platform is most accessible when utilizing a Windows computer with JAWS or NVDA, as opposed to VoiceOver, as I was barely able to begin the session note writing process with my phone. From the general therapist's side of things, I have found the platform easy to use, with the only inconvinience being that clients cannot be recorded or otherwise treated as couples or families. I am unsure as to whether provisions can be made for groups, as we have not had groups at my site as of yet. Overall, though, I would highly recommend this platform for any therapist or client, as I have successfully used it from both perspectives. It is simple to use and straightforward.

I love having so many options within one place to operate my business efficiently. The options they provide saves valuable time during my business day and they are always upgrading and improving the product.
Adequate but expensive with poor customer service
the program design is user friendly and adequate for a group practice. However, better reports for payroll and increased customizability would make it better. Customer service is seriously lacking. When we have been able to live chat, it has been good but service is declining. We stopped using the embedded telehealth feature as it was inconsistent and needing a special link each time (rather than a static link) was not user friendly for clients. Doing updates/changes during the business day make no sense as we need to make money in order to pay the increasingly high fees. Lastly, the fees are too high.

I appreciate the improvements you steadily make to the site, like how the calendar month view no longer changes the displayed month to the current month whenever I change the window size. However, changing client schedules can still be burdensome.
Additionally desired features:
1) when changing all events of a reoccurring appointment, make it so that it changes all events going forward from the point of the selected event instead of going all the way back to the earliest upcoming appointment (like how Apple
Calendars functions).
2) I would like the ability to check the last progress note directly from the schedule Agenda screen

Continuing issues with connection has cost me money.
Customer service has denied my request for reimbursement each time blaming an outside source for the outages. Theranest should have business interruption insurance and should take accountability for their failures.
I continue to have issues with clients attempting to access the session but being put into some mystery waiting room that is not connected to the actual session. I then have to remake session links sometimes 3 or 4 times for our session to happen.

I like how everything can be separated and laid out. But with an initial Assessment, we are not able to put whether its H0031 a home or out of office assessment or 90791 an in office assessment. It would also be nice if when you click the client, all current notes is listed in order by date on 1 screen and shows if its completed with signature instead of going in the category to see.

TheraNest is a good program
TheraNest is a good program. They have great training videos to help learn the system. Some of the areas have smooth work flow and some areas need work. In the areas that I have felt that Theranest is lacking they have improved or are working on improving. They are asking what our company would like to see changes in and then it typically has updates to make it better.
