All the lads were polite and worked quietly and effectively. They cleaned any residue with a vacuum cleaner which they had brought with them, leaving absolutely no mess. Would definitely recommend this service.

Had this company contract my mother, they arranged a date to visit, the survey showed up very polite man with helpful information but he was advising my mums spray foam needed removing. After reading reviews I was concerned, asked him to leave so I can get a second opinion called a local home agent and after 5 minutes it turned out everything the surveyor said from thermotech was correct I contacted them right away and they arranged for the foam to be removed, they took no deposit from my mother and said you pay at the end off the job this really helped reassure me happy over all customer would recommend.

Can I just say I am very happy with the work carried out by Darren, Mark and Ramel your three lads that did the removal and install in my loft, they were very professional, friendly clean and tidy I can’t fault them, they are a asset to your company, can you just relay back to the lads how pleased I was with their work.

I was impressed by the quiet, polite attitude of the workers. They were clean and respectful. Apart from one small error which was corrected promptly when reported the job has been completed efficiently.117

Thermotech approached my elderly and vulnerable mother over the phone about removal of foam loft insulation. We do not know where they got her details from or how they knew this insulation was installed. Which is quite concerning.

The company rep visited her on Wednesday 26th June 2024. He basically told her them that with the insulation installed she would not be able to sell their house as no one would be able to get a mortgage. How toxic fumes were being breathed in and how the struts were being affected by moisture.

He mentioned a 5k government grant even though the paperwork on the back clearly stated they were not government funded. The work was to be carried out 27th June (the very next day) it would cost £4300 but if they delayed until after this the price would double (i.e. £8000). My mother reluctantly agreed feeling worried of the extra costs.

Concerned I looked the company up and could see a professional looking website as it was too late I knew to leave a voicemail which I did several times. The next day 27th June they were due to arrive at 9am. After several calls not being answered an email also wasn't answered.

Thankfully a family friend was able to be there when the workmen arrived between 8.20am and 8.30am even they though they were not due until 9am. He seemed very pushy. But the family friend told him he would not be doing the work.

I myself received a Whatsapp call at 9.30am which would have been far to late and the work would have started if my mother had been alone at this time. The man was rude and abrupt and even tried to make me feel like we needed the work done.

This kind of thing is disgusting no empathy or remorse and can't be allowed to continue. Please warn people.

The two lads who came to do our loft were very polite and friendly they worked hard and cleaned up after each time , my husband and I were very pleased with the experience.

Avoid this company. They are scammers and most of the time the insulation does not need to be removed. My parents signed up for removal of insulation fortunately I was able to cancel the contract. They appear to be targeting the elderly and vulnerable AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

From the first visit I felt at ease everything was explained in great detail the removal team arrived the next day they were very polite and helpful they showed me photos of the foam removal it was amazing looks like I’d never had foam installed I was so happy they left my house so clean as promised I would highly recommend Thermotech wall & loft surveys to anyone that needs there foam removed

The chaps who came to remove the previously installed foam insulation were polite, friendly & very professional. They removed all the old foam & left our house very clean & tidy.

Thermotech approached my parents over the phone about removal of foam loft insulation. My parents do not know where they got their details from or how they knew this insulation was installed. The company rep visited them on Friday 07th June 2024. He basically told them that with the insulation installed they would not be able to sell their house as no one would be able to get a mortgage. He also told them that their house insurance would be invalidated because of the presence of the insulation. He also said that if they had it done by Tuesday 11th June it would cost £4000 but if they delayed until after this the price would double (i.e. £8000). My father signed a contract to proceed but afterwards told me that he thought this was just something to say that the rep had looked in the loft.

My parents were greatly distressed by the thought they wouldn't be able to sell their house and that they may have no valid house insurance. My father is 86 and has a heart condition so this was a horrible situation for them. On our advice, they read through the small print and found that they were able to cancel the contract either by email or written letter. Given the timescale, email was the only possible option here. My father was unable to send the email so I had to log in to his email account to do this for him.

For older people in a situation where they might not have anyone to turn to for help I can see that there would realistically be no chance to cancel this kind of work given the artificially short period between signing the contract and the work being carried out.

To be honest, this is nothing short of despicable practice focused on vulnerable people.

Targeting pensioners saying their loft insulation is toxic and offering to remove and replace it the next day for £4,000. Hard to get hold of on the phone and are rude when you do get through.

Tried to con a elderly family member by quoting them loft insulation at a ridiculous price without the service actually been requested in the first place...
