Found the process very easy to deal…
Found the process very easy to deal with - it was quite traumatic having to sell the saddle as it was bought new for my Exmoor pony. Sadly he died quite suddenly not long after saddle was purchased he never wore it only tried it on for size. Payment was made promptly after it arrived. I do hope another Pony gets the benefit of a very good saddle.

Super simple service
I found using the Saddle Bank really straightforward. My fitter recommended a specific make and model of a saddle for one of my horses. It was available via the Saddle Bank to trial before committing to buying a saddle that may have not been quite right. My fitter was able to come out, check fit, confirm they were happy, and I didn't have to do anything else! Delivery was prompt, saddle was in the exact condition as described (and even looked a bit newer in person!). I would definitely use this again; much easier than trawling through FB Marketplace to find the right one privately, on the off chance that it'll fit! I also really liked the bar swapping service, as I didn't have any bars of that new make of saddle, and didn't want to invest in any before committing to the saddle. Great concept, super simple, will buy future saddles from TSB!

The selling of my saddle was super fast…
The selling of my saddle was super fast and made very straight forward. I did a direct sale and although you don’t get as much as you would privately it takes all the hassle out of it. The quote I was given is exactly what I received, no quibbling on the price. Money straight into my bank account. I also purchased my next saddle from here and this was received next day and was immaculate and fits perfectly.

Wintec saddle
I was advertising my saddle on social media for sale . The saddle bank messaged me to ask if they could send me a no obligation offer . I received the offer which I was happy with , so accepted it . This was all done via email and messages. Not once did I feel pressured into selling to them . Everything was clearly explained regarding courier collection and bank transfer payment . All I had to do was box up my saddle safely and let the courier do the rest . I got to choose which day suited me for the collection. I was kept up to date with all the process, and within a matter of days , because my saddle was exactly how I had advertised it and the saddle bank were happy , the money was in my account . Great for easy adjustable saddles not so for bespoke/niche saddles
The customer services is very good with an easy process to have your saddle valued and sent. That said I would advise you be fastidious when photographing your saddle as I was told there was a mark on mine which I certainly wasn’t aware of and couldn’t see in my pictures.
Because my saddle was niche (pony, non adjustable) it took 18months to sell and I had to considerably reduce the price which left me with much less than I was first expecting - which was disappointing as it was barely 2 years old. Whilst that isn’t down to the Saddle Bank I do feel they could have pushed it a bit more or offered “featured” saddles.
I think for commercial, common-fit adjustable saddles this is a brilliant service but not so quick and easy for those more bespoke or niche bit at least my saddle was kept in a climate controlled environment and safely stored.

Easy online process to follow, very happy with the quotation provided. I hand delivered my saddle to the office on the Monday afternoon and the friendly team inspected my saddle with no issues and the payment was processed on Wednesday morning. Definitely hassle free.

Fabulous service
First time user of the saddle bank and a little nervous as my previous 2 saddles were all custom fit by a saddle fitter. I was so impressed by the choice and range. AVOID SENDING YOUR SADDLE HERE! I set a saddle to this company in very good condition. I took before photos and videos before it went, which are dated, as is the cctv footage of DPD picking it up to show that shortly after the videos the saddle was shipped. Following an inspection, the saddle bank did not wish to sell and returned the saddle. When the saddle arrived back, there was significant damage to the leather which I photographed immediately and lodged a complaint with the company. The lack of responsibility taken by the saddle bank is horrendous. I imagine the saddle has been damaged during testing and their only evidence sent to me was cctv footage of it being packed which was grainy and the saddle had its cover on it so could not show the condition whilst being packed. I am shocked that a company handling other people possessions do not take before photos prior to repacking. They have now left me with a damaged saddle which will now have to be discounted if I wish to sell it privately. They have simply washed their hands of responsibility over this. My best guess is that it has been accidentally damaged and they are trying to cover this up by playing ignorant. The box it came back in was completely undamaged which I sent a picture of to the saddle bank so I doubt it was damaged during transit. It is sickening to treat customers in this manner when you have been trusted with expensive and valuable items that people have worked hard to afford.

We're very sorry to hear how disappointed you are and for any stress or inconvenience this situation has caused.
The reason we were unable to proceed with your saddle was not due to its cosmetic condition, but because our inspection identified significant creaking within the tree. As we explained at the time, this is something that must be thoroughly investigated before the saddle is sold or used again, as it could indicate a structural issue and therefore a potential safety risk.
We receive thousands of saddles into our workshop every year, and while we are able to accept the vast majority, we do occasionally have to reject saddles where we have concerns about the integrity of the tree. Had we been satisfied that the tree was sound, we would have been more than happy to accept the saddle into stock.
With regards to the scratch you have highlighted, we take the utmost care with every saddle entrusted to us and would never knowingly return a saddle with damage. The CCTV footage we provided was intended to demonstrate the care taken during our packing process before the saddle left us. Unfortunately, as the saddle was covered for protection during packing, it cannot verify the cosmetic condition at that stage.
We completely appreciate that this has been frustrating for you. We are genuinely sorry that you feel we have let you down on this occasion.
Our offer remains open. If you have the saddle professionally inspected and the tree is confirmed to be structurally sound, we would be happy to purchase the saddle outright from you at the agreed price.
We always aim to do the right thing by our customers and would welcome the opportunity to resolve this matter positively.

Couldn't recommend saddle bank enough for there customer service both online and over the phone, they helped me find the right saddle which suited my horse perfectly, it came within a matter of days and was just as described, if your looking for a saddle they have all different saddles to suit all budget
