What an easy, simple process selling my Cavaletti saddle was from start to finish with The Saddle Bank. Valuation given, tips on packing the saddle, even a courier collected it, now thats a bonus. The next day an email arrived saying saddle received and day after that the money was in my account. What a great service this was.....highly recommend them. Saddle have a shelf life?
Filled the online form in, sent all the pictures as they wanted. Got an email saying my saddle is too old for them to buy.
Very disappointed that a good condition saddle has a shelf life. Surely if the condition is fine why does age matter.
They came recommended as well by a friend.
These people are time wasters .
Edit, I have since discovered that my brand of saddle is their do not accept list, this is not mentioned anywhere when you fill the form in, my comment of time eaters feels justified.

The age of a saddle is something we do have to take into consideration. Unfortunately, as saddles get older, we tend to see a much higher rate of issues with the tree and overall structural integrity, which is why we have to place age limits on certain models we purchase or list.
We review every saddle individually based on factors such as age, condition, safety, demand and resale suitability. Unfortunately on this occasion, it simply wasn’t something we were able to take on.
We are certainly not timewasters, we sell over 4,000 saddles per year and try to provide honest and realistic assessments for every customer enquiry we receive. We’re also pleased we were able to help your friend previously, as recommendations from happy customers mean a great deal to us.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback and are sorry we couldn’t help this time, but hopefully we will be able to assist you in the future.

***Edit in response to customers edit - When filling in our sell your saddle form, when you select brand, the first option on the drop down is 'Brand not listed'. If you click that it will tell you that if the brand is not listed, then sadly it is not one we take, therefore no need to complete the form.
However, we are currently accepting Harry Dabbs saddles via the commission method. Your saddle is just a bit older than ones we can take.

I bought a used saddle from The Saddle Bank. My horse has proven a challenge to find a good fit, so the trial period was invaluable to ensure I'd made a good choice. Service was excellent, the saddle arrived as expected and was very well packaged. Very pleased.

Easy, hassle free transaction
This was a very simple and hassle free way of selling my saddle. The only negative is that is took 6 months for it to sell. But I would use them again as it was very easy.

Stress free way to buy great saddles !
I will definitely be using The Saddle Bank again for saddles in the future. I bought a lovely jumping saddle which was exactly as portrayed on the photos, even came with an original saddle cover which i wasn’t expecting. The process was very smooth, taking the stress away from spending a lot of money online and being unsure at what was going to arrive.
