If I could leave zero stars, I would. Worst company ever. I got a catalog in the mail that said I was preapproved for credit for a $400 limit. I ordered one $50 gift to be sent to my sister for her birthday. The gift was not sent to her. So, my sister thoughht I forgot her birthday . A week after her birthday, I got a letter in the mail saying they want a down payment of $25 to send the gift. Seriously, a 50% down payment. Banks only require at most 20% down to buy a house. (I had to put down 6%.) I only had to put down 5% to buy my car. I didnt even need a down payment for my student loans. Avoid this company like the plague.

Sent a gift basket was told by the recipient that every item was past its expiration date.

I’ve been a loyal customer for 35 yrs. What happened to this company? Worst service I ever experienced. They canceled my order twice, didn’t notify me. Now after having an outstanding credit account for 35 yrs and pre approval, they denied using the credit plan. I would use another card but it too late for the items to arrive. You lost a lifetime customer!

I live far away from my family a lot because of work. And I love that Swiss Colony can be counted on for gifts . And the prices are very helpful also.

Same as another reviewer: Was not happy with ISC years ago but decided to go back to give them another try. Big mistake. After several "promising" phone calls to Customer Service to get them to honor their offer, it got all messed up anyway. And the final price kept escalating! The free chocolates and Petit Fours that can be shipped for an additional fee to any address? FORGET ABOUT IT. All went to one address. Customer has no say and does not come first with this awful company. I am done with them.

On their website, i was given a promocode for 10% off, expires today (12/02/24). When i phoned in my order, i was told it expired 11/27/24. I read out the date to the CSR and was, very politely, told she could not help. I believe this may be fraud or bait-and-switch. Both are illegal practices and should be investigated.

I ordered 3 items from this Website on 11/16 to the tune of over $60.00. As of 12/01 I have yet to receive my order. I sent an inquiry to Swiss Colony. I was informed the order was shipped on 11/27 via FedEx and to wait for 10 days. According to Swiss Colony Website, this shipment was picked up by FedEx on 11/28, it went to Charlotte NC, then back to Greensboro NC where it was handed to USPS for delivery. For all I know this order may be in Slingshit China. Save your money, don't order from Swiss Colony.

Been a customer for years, decided to go back. How disappointing; even entering addresses is cumbersome, since certain obvious characters are not accepted and addresses, including "N". For "North" . I find that unnecessarily difficult.
Then, when my email confirmation came, the amount charged was not included, only my order number. All the other services we use show the amount.
As an elderly person I appreciate the confirmation. Why should I have to go back online to see the amount charged?

I was surprised to receive an email and a credit for my purchase today. I appreciate you doing that.

I placed my first order online and it was mailed to me instead of the person I wanted it shipped to. I contacted customer service and after several days they responded and indicated they would correct their error. But, they sent the order to me again instead of the intended delivery address.

Ordered 11/15. Still waiting for package.Getting the run around. According to Fed ex the package has been sitting at my post office since 11/25.Contacted Swiss Colony for the third time.Recieved an e mail that states I have to wait 10 more days for the shipment to arrive. Save your time don't order from them.

Have not received orders plus they are of no help. I wish I had read reviews first before placing my orders. Bot handles calls. Amazon handles many of the cheese.sauage. cookie and Christmas torte orders. Suggest you don't lose your money. Don't order from them !!

Received a cake that was dry and past the fresh date. When I asked for a refund, they offered to refund only ten percent of my purchase price. When I attempted to complete send an email and a survey that they sent, they never responded back. Nineteen years of being a loyal, happy customer down the drain because they dropped the ball.

If I could give them a zero I would. Horrible company to do business with. Customer service is the worst!!! I ordered 85 boxes of toffee. Was told that My order with tax and shipping and handling would be $2570.48 but when I received my receipt they charged me $2669.37. When I asked for a manager they put me on hold for over an hour and I really don't think they had any intentions of letting me talk to a manager. I called on my cell phone while the office phone was still on hold with them and asked for a customer service manager and they put me on hold as well but at least I did finally get someone to answer after about 10 minutes. They did finally say they were going to credit the company credit card the difference of what I was told the whole order would be including the S&H and taxes. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! They are nothing but a headache!!! We had problems with them last year as well and I thought it was a fluke but now I know this is the way they do business.

I left the office phone on hold with Swiss Colony from the first call I made just to see how long I would be on hold and it was on hold 4 hours and 17 minutes before they hung up.

I had a wonderful experience. This Company is just so sweet and nice! :) For one of my gift orders, they didn't have the smaller size box of petite fours I'd ordered in stock, so they sent a larger box at no extra charge! I had a free gift that I didn't see applied, so I emailed customer service, and they got the free gift sent out to the recipient, no problem. I made the minimum payments throughout the year, to add a additional credit line to my FICO, and Swiss Colony doubled my credit line the following year!

I ordered from Swiss Colony and was extremely disappointed.
The 43 Season Pleaser had the tiniest meat and cheeses I've ever seen.
It looked like it was made for toddlers.
I'll never order from Swiss Colony again.

The Swiss Colony used to be our "GoTo Place" for holiday food gifts,
I recently ordered for my family and for my household also i just received the paackage and the sausages we no bigger than my thumb(i KID YOU NOT) you could just to the local dollar store and get more items for a cheapeer price this is the last time i order fom them, it was $35. USD for each tiny package so 35 X 3 packages alot of money spent on Junk...

Placed an order for smoked turkey on Sunday. Told the customer service person we didn't want until Nov 18. Twice! She told us she put in special shipping and we'd get it around then. Wanted to do the credit plan and the catalog said we wouldn't be billed til Feb. We've done our other orders that way. She said she didn't know anything about that and we would be billed monthly. So I said to bill us now and she even had our card info. Again, we verified that we would be charged now. The next day, received an email saying we used the charge plan. Ok, I can be flexible. But the next day, I received another email saying our order had shipped and would arrive by Nov 5. Called and got an unhelpful person, asked to be transferred to a supervisor, Rose, who just kept repeating that our order had shipped and would be here Oct 30th. Nothing could be done. When I tried to explain about the credit plan snafu, she kept interrupting me, and had the temerity to scold me for speaking inconsiderately to her. I didn't swear or raise my voice; I just asked her to stop speaking, not to shut up. I'm sure it's all recorded. We've ordered from them for over 20 years but they've gone downhill . I will NEVER order from them again

BUYER BEWARE!!! I should have read the reviews before purchased from this company! I purchased a gift for a friend and when my charge came through, it was more than it should have been. I called the company and finally got hold of someone who told me there was nothing they could do to fix it. It hadn't shipped yet, so I told them to cancel my order. When I asked for a confirmation number, I was told they don't do that. That's when I should have known!!
I purchased a gift from Hickory Farms to replace the one that I cancelled from Swiss Colony. My friend got the Hickory Farms gift and almost 2 weeks later got the shipment from Swiss colony that I had cancelled. Then, Swiss Colony turned me over to a collection service!!

I was sent a catalog in the mail. I had the catalog and was placing an order with the agent. On one of the items , the Almond-Raspberry Petit Four, it was listed as $17.99. When I was placing the order the agent said it was $19.99. I told him the catalog says $17.99. They would not honor the catalog price so I told him just forget about my order and I hung up. Why would a company send out a catalog and then not honor the prices in the catalog. It is not an old catalog. I received it a few weeks ago. These are Christmas Items so I waited until it got closer to November. Signed a former and never to be again Swiss Colony customer.

Warning! Do not do business with The Swiss Colony. I have been making my payments on time every month and on time. My minimum payment was $25 and was sending $40 a little extra to get it paid off sooner. In August I sent $25 bank money order for the month of August and it was cleared on Aug.6, 2024. I also sent a $40 bank money order for September's payment on August 30, 2024 and it cleared my bank on Sept.6,2024. The Swiss Colony is telling me that I am behind on my payments, which is not true. I had my bank run a trace on the Sept payment and it showed it cleared I sent copies of the money orders along with a copy of the money order that was cashed through their bank. Now they are threatening to turn it over to collectors. I am seriously thinking of contacting Oklahoma's attorney general, consumer fraud division. They have dishonest people working for The Swiss Colony. I am not the only one they did this too.When a company has 1.5 rating with bad reviews, that should send up a major red flag.
