In the Bedford branch the staff have an attitude problem, no customer service skills, they need to train them better. Also the new rule about having 3 minutes from when they tell you you can go in till when you need to be laying in your tanning bed is way too short. Booking a 20 min slot for a 10 min tan, giving me 3 min to undress, remove any makeup, apply your expensive lotions properly and ensure cleanliness standards are kept so you feel safe to tan in their beds (as the young girls couldn't care less about wiping screens and handles and what not so you can feel safe to touch around you - everything is full of fingermarks - screens, handles etc) . The tanning shop you are losing your loyal customers, this is the worse service I received. Paying for a service and using half of it, rushing with frustration and being greeted with rudeness.
I am refusing to be their customer going further, and requesting to cancel my 2 active packages.

Peterborough branch is my local and after not using a sunbed for many years,was very impressed with the warm welcome and knowledge of the friendly staff who guided me through a new customer package and lotion that would best suit my needs.
My visits are always a pleasure,and the place is always spotless.

I have visited your store Hykeham The Forum and I just want to congratulate you for having such lovely staff. There was a girl I think she was Kate or Cath. She was from Northern Ireland, she couldn't have been nicer. She sorted me with goggles showed me to my booth and put me at ease. I'm new to sunbeds and not confident due to my mental health but she really went above and beyond to make my visit relaxed and enjoyable. The place was spotless too. Very neat & tidy and smelt fresh & clean. She is a credit & assest to your business and the reason I will be making a return visit to your store in the near future.

Just went to the tanning shop at the forum in Lincoln. A very abrupt and rude young girl said “you have to book and no slots left today” I didn’t know about an app or having to book, ( the shop is empty). I asked what app and she said it will be with your login details. I explained I joined years ago when it was the beach hut and didn’t know about booking. She said “well that’s tough, sort it out and I can only book you for tomorrow”
Low behold I have found the app, set myself up and managed to book in the next hour. So not only was she , rude and unhelpful she lied. What this person didn’t realise is that I joined back up to help my SAD and am in a bad place at the moment. She treated me like a four year old. I’m a working professional but suffering with a bad bout of SAD . Very unhelpful just determined to tell me off because I didn’t know there was an app or that I had to book. I hadn’t booked Sat, or Monday when I paid for mins and wasn’t told I had too either. Also on Sat when I bought mins I was told my details were on comp from when it was Beach hut so didn’t need to do anything. So the girl today . Thank you for making me feel like a naughty child and causing me to have an emotional moment when I left the store! When I managed to book an hour later ( when she said I couldn’t) she squatted down behind the counter ! I was then served by a lovely Irish girl who was polite

Becky at The Tanning Shop in Stafford is always so friendly when you arrive and leave. I have noticed how much cleaner the place is now since she has been there,it smells so much better as well. There are always wipes and eye protection available. The toilet also has toilet roll and hand roll,which you used to have to ask for before as more often than not it had run out. She is an asset to your company.

I have been using the Twickenham branch for a few years now and have always been super pleased with the cleanliness of the salon. The staff have always been kind, and very helpful. I went for another visit on Thursday and the girl who was working there was so helpful with explaining about the tanning creams and how they work. I will continue using this store and have recommended to friends and family.

Fantastic sunbed shop high end sunbeds quality left my phone in the shop lovely staff kept it for me thankyou so much totally recommend this shop to sunbed lovers xx

I have recently started a sunbed course at the brainttee essex salon. The staff are friendly knowledgeable and they have beds for all levels needed. I was so impressed by the high levels of cleanliness and hygiene at this salon spotless no smears hand prints when the lights go on.

I have been using hednesford tanning shop for a while now and what a lovely bunch of staff. Tom has served me on my last few visits and what a pleasure he is to be served by. He is always happy to help discus creams based on my needs when I fancy a change and takes the time for a friendly chat while I wait for a bed. I will long continue to use hednesford tanning shop

I visited the Hednesford tanning and Grace the assistant was so helpful & very knowledgeable she advised me with a selection of tanning lotions, and which would work best for me. Grace then demonstrated how to get the best tanning experience and how best to use the beds, she explained the settings and benefits. I must say all the staff have been amazing but Grace went that extra mile today so thank you 😎

Good beds but shop is not always open on time in the morning. This had happened twice to me so far

Hi I would just like to leave a bit of feedback, Timi and the girls at braintree are amazing and so knowledgeable, they make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in the shop and always greet people with a smile, beds are always spotlessly clean and the shop is immaculate everytimme I've been. Credit to them all, Keep up the good work girls....

Claireece in the Openshaw branch was amazing! I haven't been on sunbeds for over 10 years and they're entirely different now to how they were then - I was expecting tokens and a basic stand up or lie down. The types of sunbeds and how they work felt quite overwhelming for me!
Claireece gave me, what felt like, a VIP treatment! She showed me every bed and explained how they work so that I could feel comfortable using them, and she did this in the least condescending way possible.
She also explained every bed in great detail so that I could make an informed decision about the package I wanted to purchase; and she took time to understand me, recommending me some wonderful products.
On top of this, the beds were pristine and the shop was welcoming in general. Best outcome I could have hoped for!

Guildford branch.
The hygiene in the tanning shop Guildford is diabolical! I’ll never go back due to the fact they do not clean each sun bed properly. I’m sure I caught some kind of skin rash that brought me up in red itchy patches in various areas of my body which was possibly impetigo? Disgusting place. Avoid.
When the lights are on in the sunbeds you can see clumps of dried skin and smears of cream/bodily fluids on the Perspex 🤮

I used Hednesford tanning shop for the first time on Friday 8th March (15:00) The two ladies were very efficient and helpful, i have had 6 mins left on an old purchase that had never been combined with a new purchase the lady got on the phone and within a minute all the minutes were combined ...Normally i use Stafford they have never combined the minutes ..I also think Hednesford beds are better.

Used for first time today and the beauty collagen bed was amazing X very impressed with everything ❤️

The team in the store at Hednesford are great, friendly and helpful. On Sunday 25th Feb the store didn't open on time and I had to leave without keeping my tanning session, and a little sign on the window said if this happens let us know, which I did via the contact option in the app. Automated reply said I'd get a reply, 10 days later heard nothing, so poor customer service all round.

Update in reply to Tanning Shops reply - no emails were received have checked again including my junk and spam.

Vicky and Hayley welcomed me with open arms around a year ago when I was bereaved from my wife of 43yrs, I’ve got a fantastic tan and people from all walks of life comment to me, the bishop Auckland branch is immaculate and these two are to be praised, it’s because of them that I have an obsession, I’ve always done the stand up but they’ve got me on the mega sun recently and I’m working my way up to 20 minutes, they are the A team

Rugby tanning shop is simply the best I had never been to a tanning shop before but the lady called Nicole made me feel totally at ease so much so I got my wife to join and we now make it a point to go every week

Love hednesford tanning shop! Grace always sorts me out, even if I come without a slot booked she will always do her best to get me in! Gives you the brutal honesty that not many would too so you’ll get the absolute best out of your session❤️ much love x
