Unfortunately this review is mainly based on the management’s attitude (James and Josh). Our 4 year old flowergirl was found to have mechanical grease oil on her dress whilst travelling on the bus. After contacting the company, both managers absolved responsibility, even though they admitted that it had come from the bus window. After they finally answered our emails asking for them to redress the situation by recompensing our (£15) drycleaning charge, they said a) the child had no reason to touch the window mechanism (unlikely the oil was just on the window mechanism as it was out of reach, and b) (more surprisingly) they should not have wiped it from their finger onto their dress! (the 4 year old was not aware it was on their finger so it inevitably ended up on their dress).
I advised that there should at least be a warning that this oil is on the windows, but received no response about this from the company.
This issue could all have been cleared up by the management issuing at least a goodwill refund of the cleaning bill, but instead they chose to respond with a defensive and rather petty attitude blaming us!
Some guests nearly missed the bus from the church as the conductress was not pro-active at all, and made no effort to check if the guests were still in the churchyard.
Also, the bus was parked at the church with just the rear entry point showing as guests boarded, instead of to the right of the church entrance so that the front of the bus with the personalised blinds could be seen.
None of the wedding guests or Bridal Party saw them so they were a waste of money.
After pointing this out in our email, we were given the excuse that this was for ease of boarding. This does not make sense as the guests would only have to walk the short length of the bus to board.
I would say do not pay for personalised blinds unless the company make some effort for them to be seen!
The same at the venue, the bus was parked head-on to a house with guests exiting the back of the bus, instead of the driver explaining to the photographer that the blinds would again not be seen by anyone.
We were not told in any correspondence that we could keep the personalised blinds. They were given to the venue manager when the bus left, but as we were not aware of this, the venue presumed we did not want them. Again, an email asking the management where in our booking we were told that we could keep the blinds remained unanswered.
Poor attitude and lack of accountability from the management spoils an otherwise good bus service!

A great addition to our event, really adding to the experience for guests. Would recommend for all events and parties!

Amazing!! Conor was excellent setting up the booking and travel arrangements and communication and assistance were brilliant throughout. On the day, everything ran to perfection and driver and conductor were really lovely. We arrived at Islington Town Hall and were 1 of 3 buses. Our bus stood out, glistening away in the sunshine (the condition is stunning) and instead of a standard bus blind that others had - our names and wedding date were on the blind (at no extra cost which we were given to keep) it honestly makes it look all that more special. Thank you so much for adding such brilliant memories to our day our guests loved the surprise and it’s a journey we will never forget.

The fact you can bring alcohol was great as not many companies allow this but between the beers and the music also it got everyone in the party mood for the reception! We really appreciate that you navigated the bad traffic and bridge closures and got us all there as quickly as you could. We loved the personal individual bus tickets and the fact the staff kindly gave us the sign as a keepsake.

I would recommend this company for all events!

The Vintage Red Bus Company was absolutely fantastic for our wedding transport on Saturday 18th April. From our very first enquiry through to the big day itself, the team were professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful.

The bus looked amazing and added such a special touch to our wedding day. Our guests absolutely loved travelling on them, and everything ran so smoothly and on time, which really helped us relax and enjoy the day.

The staff onboard were wonderful, polite, organised, and made everyone feel comfortable and looked after throughout the journey. We’ve had so many compliments from our guests about how unique and enjoyable the transport was.

The Vintage Bus was a highlight of our wedding day! Our guests loved it; it was a real vibe with chilled drinks pre-arranged with Conor, and our own Spotify playlist. The photos were fantastic too! Very retro.

Everyone attending the wedding said that the bus was one of the top highlights of the day, it was a really incredible experience! The Vintage Red Bus company team have been amazing and made everything so straight forward for us, from the organisation to serving Prosecco on the bus ride and playing great tunes that everyone sang along to. The bus was beautifully decorated with ribbons inside and out and also had personalised wedding signage. We would absolutely recommend the Vintage Red Bus company, they really did make a great day very memorable indeed. Many thanks again to Conor and the team.

The whole team at the Vintage Red Bus Company were nothing but incredible! Everything from the organisation, planning, taking food and drink deliveries, the route planning, responsiveness of e-mails, service was absolutely perfect for our wedding day! The team on the bus on the day were awesome!

We booked a bus for my daughter's wedding in December. The whole experience was just a delight - Conor and his team were friendly and efficient, the bus itself looked beautiful and arrived bang on time which was incredible considering it was a rainy Saturday in central London full of Christmas shoppers! We couldn't recommend the Vintage Red Bus Company more highly!

We booked two buses for our wedding guests to go from the church to the venue and WOW what an experience, the best decision we made! The buses looked absolutely fabulous, with personalized touches and all our guests had the best best time on them, sipping on their prosecco and singing along to the playlist we had made. They all commented on how lovely the team were and how great the experience was. The team were so great in the lead up when we were planning too and made the whole experience seamless. Best experience ever!

We booked a bus for our wedding party to get from the Town hall to the restaurant and it was perfect in every way. The driver was lovely and smooth and the host was so friendly and organised all our drinks for our guests.
We didnt know at the time, but we also got to keep the banner from the front of the bus which we loved as it is a nice keepsake.
All our guests still talk about the bus a week later, so I would highly recommend getting one if you are considering it for an event.

We booked the bus company for our wedding day, taking our guests to our registry office and then onwards to our reception at a pub.
The feedback from our wedding day overwhelmingly was that the bus rides were the best part of the day and bride and groom would definitely agree! We were lucky to have a beautiful day in London but our driver also made an effort to take a route which showed this beautiful city to its best! Julian and Nick were absolutely brilliant on the day whether it was from choosing the right route or entertaining our guests with great jokes and filling up their drinks! The bus itself was an absolute beauty and the sound system was also brilliant for getting people excited with our wedding playlist.

We would just love to say thank you so much to the whole team for being so brilliant. Everything was just brilliant and the team really made our day so special. If anyone is looking to really entertain their wedding guests (not just make their transport easier)and spark pure joy on the day we can't recommend this enough.

A fabulous addition to our wedding! Conor was very helpful from our first interaction right up to the days before the wedding. The bus arrived promptly and our guests loved travelling on it from the ceremony to the reception. We were able to send drinks before which they served chilled on the day, and the special touches like the bus tickets and personalised message blind is something we will keep!

Absolutely fantastic service for our wedding day! From start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond to make our special day perfect.
Our bus driver was incredibly patient and professional throughout the journey. The lady serving drinks couldn't do enough for us - she was so friendly, always had smiles on her face, and kept everyone's glasses topped up beautifully.

A special mention for how our driver handled a difficult situation when someone started shouting at us during our photo session. He calmly told us "don't let anyone ruin your day" and his positivity really helped keep our spirits up. He worked brilliantly with our photographer too, positioning the bus perfectly to allow for maximum photo opportunities.

They also took all our food and drinks on board and had everything prepared and ready for us after our ceremony - such thoughtful service that made everything so much easier.

The whole team made our wedding transport stress-free and enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for better service. Highly recommend!
