After a frustrating experience with our previous supplier, who provided both phone and internet services with consistently poor quality, I knew we needed a change. I began searching on Google for a VoIP provider that not only offered better reliability but could also provide mobile call redirection in case of internet failure. That’s when I found The VoIP Shop.
I filled in a form online, and within 24 hours, I was contacted by a member of their team. I explained our situation, and they recommended a cloud-based solution using the 3CX platform, which included a mobile app and remote call features at no extra cost. They provided a desk phone, and several WiFi phones tailored to our needs.
There was a short delay in transferring our number, but this was outside of their control. From the initial consultation to the phones going live took about a month. Once active, everything worked flawlessly at first. However, we later discovered an issue specific to our setup: our Garden Centre spans over 6 acres and relies on a large WiFi network. The WiFi phones functioned perfectly when connected to indoor WiFi 6 access points but experienced issues when roaming onto outdoor WiFi 5 access points.
It’s important to stress that this was not a fault of The VoIP Shop. After some investigation and minor network adjustments, we were able to resolve the issue. Throughout this time, their support team remained incredibly responsive, patient, and helpful. No request was too much, from custom welcome/closed messages to setting up business hours and voicemail services.
The level of communication and professionalism from The VoIP Shop has been second to none. They’ve truly restored my confidence in business telecom providers. If you’re tired of poor service and are looking for a dependable, customer-focused provider, I couldn’t recommend The VoIP Shop more highly.
