This is the second time I have used this company. Easy to book online and kept updated at every step. Eddie very friendly and professional and gave good advice. Job well done. Would definitely recommend this company.

Window Doctor Reading. Called me back I left a phone message to discuss work to repair old upvc windows and retrofit trickle vents. The window dr didn’t seem to understand that I needed retrofit to 20 year old windows and became confused and agitated about on street parking and hung up on me after saying it wasn’t something for them. Went I went to voice mail several times calling him back… I thought the whole point of the company is to repair old upvc windows but they are not really interested. Waste of time. Avoid.

Excellent service, front door fixed in minutes. Would highly recommend

After contacting The Window Doctor, James came , accessed the 2 problems, gave me a quote , and followed up with the repairs. I Didn't feel hassled or pushed into making a decision and felt comfortable with James , who did a first class job.

Very disappointed with this company. I contacted them to replace some misty window panes. They came out promptly, took measurements, and gave me a quote—which I initially appreciated. But after that, they completely disappeared. I tried calling and messaging several times over the next three weeks with no response at all. Wasted my time waiting for something that never happened. Very unprofessional and unreliable. Would not recommend!

Glenn arrived 1st thing on 8/7/25, I was very impressed with him being punctual, Glenn 1st checked over the job, in the bathroom, and to also see if any other parts etc might be needed. On inspection a new Chrome Handle & new key was required. A quote was then completed. First of all a dust sheet was placed on the bathroom floor, the window had "dropped " which also needed tobe Realigned, new Handle fitted with a new key being supplied. Job done no mess left and everything was explained along the way. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needed a repair on any of their windows etc.

Eddie arrived exactly on time was very pleasant and knew exactly what to do to my jammed patio door he quoted me, not a silly price fixed and realised our patio doors now working better than when we had them installed some 5 years ago.
This is the second time we have used Eddie from the Window Doctor the first was a problem with our composite front door fixed it perfectly.

We used Austin from Chelmsford and I have to say a fast, efficient friendly service at an affordable price. He realigned my bi folds which we can now close safely again. He came the same day and got the job done. It was nice to not feel pressurised or worried about being ripped off as you do feel a bit vulnerable when getting people in. Would defo use again, quoted price for expected work and stuck to it. Thank you Austin.

The original window doctor is a family business which concentrates on providing high quality services. This was evident in the work they completed for us. We had misting double glazed windows which were replaced and patio doors which needed to be reworked to eliminate draughts. They also checked and adjusted all other windows to ensure correct fit and ensuring all were draught free.
We can recommend the original windows doctor for all appropriate jobs

Some of my neighbours have been using this company (the London Branch, new union street) to repair their balcony (a hinge replacement). They provided me the contact of the person from the window doctor who did it for them Keith.
When I contacted him he gave me an enormous quote (without knowing or asking what the issue was!) Of £460 when my neighbours had all paid £165 for the same issue!
On the top of that, this person sounds extremely arrogant and unprofessional.
The only thing he kept saying was "it's a two hours job (without knowing what the issue was!). He also stated that if one hinge needed to be changed then a second had to be changed which is no true!
There are plenty of honest door and window companies out there. Please stay away from them, you will pay an enormous amount of money for something that doesn't worth it.

I have used this company twice now to repair my doors that were fitted by a well know company who did a poor job fitting them and now will not honour the warranty and some windows that were fitted by an independent installer. On both occasions the repairs were carried out to a high standard by a very professional and friendly engineer.
On this occasion the repair was too my front door. The frame was bowed and the door was extremely difficult to close and lock as well as being very draughty. It now closes better than it ever has since it was originally fitted with no effort and it seals much better.
Also my windows now open and close as they should after being adjusted.
The previous visit was to repair my kitchen door which had dropped and required a new hinge. This was also repaired to a high standard.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company.
