Cut to exact size, all edges square and planed.

This is my second order from this company. This was a smaller order of only 3 pieces. This time the pieces were much longer wider and thinner. The surface planing was not as good as with the previous order, maybe the blades in the planer needed sharpening or replacing. One piece is somewhat bowed which means by the time I straighten it out I will lose something from the width. Fortunately I compensated for this with my order. I thought the wood ordered was cut approximately to size and then machined. After a conversation with the company I now realise that is not the case. Lengths of 3 metres or more are planed all round and then cut to sizes requested therefore the pieces may not be ready to use without further cutting or planing the edges if in my case you wish to join them together

These guys are brilliant. Timber at a fraction of the cost compared to others. LED me to think poor quality but it’s not. It’s good quality. And the customer service is second to none. I had a damaged piece but was replaced with two replacements swiftly. Plus I cut a piece of walnut wrong in a rush and these guys felt my pain and sent another piece free of charge. Really went the extra mile. Can’t recommend enough

Wrong item delivered which delayed completion of project.
On the plus side the mistake was rectified, communications were good and product very good (though rather pricey in my opinion)

My order for specifically cut timber arrived as advised by Timber Cut 4 U. The timber is cut and planed exactly to size. The delivery was well packaged, meaning it arrived in perfect condition.

The period between ordering and delivery seemed a little long and one of the wood pieces has a slight natural crack which will have to be worked around. Without the crack, this would have been a 5-Star review.
