Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service . I purchased the subscription for a year but the app doesn’t recognize my subscription and even after mailing proof to customer service no response back from them . When I reached out via mail first time it took them weeks to respond back to ask for proof of purchase . DO NOT SUBSCRIBE

Charge credit card $120 a year later

The app itself is fine but there are comparable ones that are free. My one star review is because they will continue to charge your credit card exorbitant amounts with no advance notice of the charge. A year after downloading the app my credit card was charged $120 and they refuse to refund me.

SCAM

SCAM. Subscription was canceled but the company made unauthorized renewal charge to my account of 59.99. There was no notification of renewal, no warning.

got this app for my son thinking he…

got this app for my son thinking he would use it. Unfortunately he never used it as he is autisti. I forgot I had subscribed for it and it charged me the yearly price. My issue is that they didn't remind me that it would coming out . This is a trap they count on parants to forget to cancel when there kids don't use it,therefor charging you until you notice.

Rogue company...

9/28/2025 I received an email and a letter stating that they would go ahead and give me the credit that I deserved of $83 if I would change my review. I told them I would change the review once the credit had posted to my account. As of today my bank says the credit will post within 5 days. I will be back for an update
8/27/2025 I signed up for the trial on Facebook. I forgot about it never used it and saw they charged me $83, 11.00 for the games and $71 for membership for one year service. I did a chat on their website and was told that they do not issue credits. I emailed them via email, told them I never used it and would not be using it in the future so I requested a credit. They never responded. So I emailed them a second time no response again. I contacted my bank and let them take care of the fraudulent charges.

Subscription Trap Extraordinaire—TinyTap’s Disgusting Business Model

If I could give negative stars, I would. My experience with TinyTap has been a masterclass in how not to run a business—or treat a customer.

I figured out in minutes that TinyTap wasn’t for me and tried to cancel during the trial. But guess what? Cancellation? Impossible. The subscription was hidden like a secret trapdoor, designed to snare unsuspecting users. Instead of support, I got canned replies so robotic they might as well have been typed by a bot programmed to ignore basic human decency and consumer law!

What’s worse, reading other reviews, I see my experience is strictly by design. This isn’t a bug. This is TinyTap’s entire business model: engineer a labyrinth that blocks cancellations, stonewall with scripted replies, and only “refund” when your bank forcibly intervenes. Did I ever receive an apology, or even a hint of accountability? Of course not. After multiple emails and an escalation, their Head of Customer Success wrote me a single, bland note after my bank decided enough was enough, telling me I'd won the dispute! Not even a sorry for any of what can only be described as an absolute farce!

I guenuinily don't understand why a business would want to force an unwilling person to be a customer for an entire year and then waste their own time and resources dealing with escalaions and potential risky compliance and legal disputes - what do they thinks going to happen - I'm going to become a brand ammbasador and recommend them to my friends? It's truly baffling!

So, in conclusion, if you want an app that traps you in subscriptions, stonewalls reasonable requests, and treats consumer rights as optional? Welcome home. If you value your time, money, and sanity, do yourself (and everyone else here) a favour: avoid TinyTap!

Watch out for annual subscription they don't seem to cancel

Had this app for some time for my 3/4 year old, he enjoyed it at the time for a few months but for 2 years now they have billed me even when I cancelled the subscription. Currently arguing with them about the 2nd year billing and will contact my credit card company for fraud as I asked them last year to cancel it and also return my annual fee to which they didn't return my money and clearly didn't cancel it either

Still waiting a solution

I wrote a review in January/2025 (I don't know why but I can not reply back) and tinytap replied me just in July/2025 telling me to get back in touch with the suport team again.
I did it but their reply was as below:

Thanks for reaching back out. Unfortunately I still unable to provide a refund, as now too much time has passed. You can try contacting PayPal to allow the refund.

My kids have started asking for TinyTap daily, and I’m so glad they can enjoy an ad-free environment filled with teacher-created content. It’s a much better experience than other platforms. Highly recommended!

Scam

Scam. I did the free trial they took 49 pound out of my account would not let me sign in to cancel the subscription I'm having to block it through my bank!!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service , used free trial for the time stated 25th Feb to 3rd March. I Cancelled on the 3rd of March , I was charged a full year as it seems the 3rd of March is after the trial period which was stated on email for trial .
I have sent screen shots showing when my trial period runs but I will not be refunded .
