Tiresplus ia a joke

Tiresplus ia a joke! I took my car for brake service and had to return 4 times without having all the issues solved. After writing a review on Google, customer service reached out and it follows the pattern of extremely poor service. My case was supposedly escalated and the regional manager was going to contact me in 2 days… guess what? That never happened.
Stay away from this business!

I just spent 11 hours over two days at this store not due to any fault of the current employees. I found the current temporary manager, Nelly, was extremely professional. Whether he was speaking on the phone or working directly with customers, he was courtesy and always had a smile on his face. I wished my manager at Tires Plus in Indy had these qualities. I guess after seeing all the bad reviews I dont know how this company can still be in business. They are thieves. After approx 10 years of dealing with these ppl, I was so disappointed to realize how they gouch their prices. I took my GMC Terrain because the steering wheel was making a graspy noice, James who took care of me he said that maybe it was the motor mounts but couldnt be certain but they needed replacement badly, so i told him to go ahead, I was charged almost 2000.00 to replace all 4. 2 weeks later I had an issue with the transmission which they do not repair (Thank God) my next door neighbor blindly referred me to her mechanice cause she said he was the best and he comes out to your home to do the repairs, I called him and he came out, boy was she right this guy is the best I have ever encountered, he told me all that was wrong as there were a few things that needed attention, he also told me that the motor mounts were after market, I was never told that they were going to replace my OEM motor mounts with aftermarket, which they should tell u, and 2000 for aftermarket? also he noticed that they never checked my fluid as the engine oil was almost empty so was my brake fluid, this is not acceptable. I called Tire Plus and spoke to James, all he could say was "Im sorry" repeadly and as per the engine oil he blame it on the mechanic, for real? So i told him I was going to compaint to corporate. That didnt do any good either, I called they gave me a claim no, and was told that an area manager or supervisor would get back to me within 48 hrs, well that never happened, I called again and gave the customer serv agent the claim no, she said she was going to escalete it, is been over a week and no calls, so I guess with Tire plus is all a game, they could care less as long as they can get away stealing your money.
DO NOT USE TIRE PLUS IF U DONT WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF. STAY AWAY.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Do not use this business. When I booked an appointment for a road force balance the guy on the phone give me the price for balance but then says extra will surely apply. I told him that will not apply as the vehicle was serviced the week before by places that are way more reportable than Tires Plus. So I get here this morning for balance and sure enough they are telling brakes are bad. Tech drove from parking lot to service bay. No real test drive then they said K&K didnt test drive it to know brakes were bad (truck was test driven by Land Rover and K&K) but Tires Plus can tell from parking lot to service bay breaks were bad...yeah right.This truck has been checked throughly by Land Rover and K & K Automotive. Why would I trust a janky tire place over Land Rover and K & K Automotive?Are your so called techs even ASE certified?Scammers for real. No wonder their rating is below 4 stars. Do not go here for any Automotive service! I called to get corporate number to make a complaint and manager Travis told me to Google it he didn't have it. I Googled and called corporate I was advised each store has a number for corporate to provide when requested by customer. I made a complaint against Travis as he was listening to a personal conversation on my personal phone with my husband about the trick they were trying to pull with the brakes. I certainly hope Travis is not a representative of what they think a good manager is? I went to K&K immediately after leaving this hell hole. Once again, brakes are fine ..... so tell who's trying to get over on who? Go to Rice Tires on Tilco instead.

Just left Rice Tires on Tilco Dr. Balance completed and 3rd opinion saying brakes in good shape!

Their lies cost me over $6k in work

I had a horrible experience at Tires Plus in Palm Springs, FL. I was manipulated and intentionally lied to about everything from my car needing an oil change for full synthetic at 5k miles, to bushings falling out from under my car. I had to bring my car back 2 more times after that to complain about a clunking noise from the breaks. They never fixed it, said they didn't hear or see anything. In the end it cost me over $4k of work, only to have them absolutely destroy my rotors less then 5 months later. I had to take my car to the dealer ship for them to fix it, only to find out they weren't installed properly, and were missing a shim kit.

Great service from Fred at Tire Plus

The individual who made my time at Tire Plus amazing was Fred.

He is professional, kind and patient. After getting a flat on the turnpike and reaching the Tire Plus location on Pines and 157 he made the process simple and efficient.

Tire Plus is fortunate to have an associate like Fred, please take the time to commend him.

DANGER

DANGER - EXTREME CAUTION NEEDED!!! DO NOT PURHCASE TIRES OR HAVE THEM DO ANY TIRE SERVICES. URGENT _ MUST READ - 6/19/24 son took van to Tires Plus in Onalaska. Tires were rotated/oil changed. He is local and stayed in town until 6/28 when he went to Brewer game and returned on 6/30. On the way home he messaged me that something was wrong and the van was making a noise and I advised to schedule an appoint and he emailed Tires Plus for an appointment before continuing home (we have confirmation of this). He continued on and about 45 minutes later while on interstate I90 by Portage in the left lane doing 70 mph with 4 adults in the vehicle the left front tire goes flying off the car and comes to a screeching halt. He was able to get it on the shoulder, lucky to be alive and not have killed or injured others, a tow truck and policy were called, tire was not found. It was towed to Madison which is the nearest Firestone/Tires Plus. Jerod the manager at that store couldn't be nicer and said that "to be clear, you will not have to pay for any repairs for the vehicle" and he was understanding and compassionate. I tried to work through the process with the Onalaska store, I called and left messages a handful of times of which I have verification and Matt not once called me back. Keeping it short Matt the manager at the Onalaska store assured me a claim had been filed on 7/11, it was not. I waited to hear back, to hear anything and did not and on 7/16 I called back and once again was told it was and when pressed he could not give me any claim/file number or contact info of any kind. I was not satisfied with that answer and searched for some number to call to find out anything and called 1-800-543-7522 and only then found out less then 30 minutes ago a claim was just filed, only after I called him asking again. He flat out lied to me and never showed any concern of any sort at any point. My vehicle to this day is not repaired, my local Firestone manager (I don't live in La Crosse) has been trying to help as she as well knows this is not right and not my fault and yet the claims teams says that the fire falling off is consistent with hitting a curb or a pothole. There are no curbs on the interstate. I emailed on 8/13/2024 the email the say to when someone responds to these reviews with my case number that is often mention in these posts saying to do and they can help and no response 4 days later so saying to do so is just lip service on their part. If the store owner wants to reach out to me they have my name and address and contact info from the services and claim/file number. For pics see pics on my Google review.

Trust value zero

I bought news tires and left vehicle there all day, when it was time to pick-up vehicle the store was closing. So no one got into passenger side of car till the next morning and that's when the damage was noticed, called tires plus and manager said there is no way his employees would have damaged my vehicle. Tires Plus refused to fix the damage and basically said I did the damage to my vehicle. I would give them a zero star but 1 is the lowest star. Beware of Tires Plus, take a video of car before leaving it with them and no cameras inside or outside of shop.

I drop my car off on Tuesday evening because of a nail in my tire. On Wednesday morning I was at the shop and spoke with the manager Rick about the tire,gave him my keys and went on my way. I returned 7hrs. later and no fixed tire. After confronting Mr. Rick about his disrespectfulness.And not informing me that if there was a problem , I would have went elsewhere but to hear a bunch of excuses was not acceptable to me. I choose Not.

My sister called and made an appointment to take her truck in for her AC she sat there for 4 hours for them to take a look at the truck and then they advised her that the mechanic does not want to do the work because it takes 10 hours! Why are you even in business if you don't want to do the work? We have given tires Plus a lot of money since we moved up here in 1988 but I can guarantee you one thing this is the last day we will contact them we will go to the Firestone in Wesley Chapel for all of our future work on our vehicles

If you have any kind of handicap (I have Pulmonary Hypertension--high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs) DON'T GO TO TIRES PLUS IN NORTH AUGUSTA!! I drove there and stopped my car by one of the open bays. There were workers inside the garage. NOT ONE of them came to my car to ask if they could help me. I finally had to WALK TO THE DOOR OF THE "SHOWROOM" for someone to respond. All I needed was one tire fixed as it had a nail in it. i was wearing my oxygen. One employee came to the car and looked at me like I just magically showed up. They offered NO HELP AT ALL to me! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TIRES PLUS FOR ANY SERVICE. FIND SOME OTHER PLACE TO GIVE YOUR BUSINESS.

To Tires Plus Corporate

Good afternoon Mr. Armbrister/ Corporate,

Recently I purchased a 2020 Jeep Compass from Enterprise Car Sales in Orlando. With in the 7 days of purchase I need the vehicle looked at due to a shaking/shuddering in the front end. I was instructed to try and line up an appointment with Firestone, but they could not look at it in a timely manner, so the alternative was to go to Tires Plus on Merrit Island.
The manager on duty this day was a man named Sean. I spent hours at this location while my vehicle was being looked at and I got to observe how Sean (the manager) conducts his daily duties. To say the least I was not impressed. Sean has a habit of talking over customers and talking down to them. I also noticed this behavior of Sean doing this to his own employees.
When it came time to deal with Enterprise management, he did not take the lead and made me do everything all the way down to putting in the credit card number into the machine to finish the transaction. He charged Enterprise more than $500.00 and the issue was never resolved. Maybe if he would have made his Tech take it for a test drive like most places do, they would have known that the problem was not fixed. It took me a week because of my schedule to come back to Tires Plus to let them know that it was not fixed. Again, I had to deal with Sean. I asked if I could set up an appointment so that I did not have to wait hours again and he refused to do so he keep saying (bring it in on Saturday and we can get Enterprise to get you a car), so I was not stuck there all day. Saturday morning, I get to Tire Plus and again I had to deal with Sean and his attitude. It starts by me asking him if he could call Enterprise car rentals down the road to get me a car if he had to have mine all day and he said that was up to me to handle. Then he goes on to tell me that the Tech cannot drive the vehicle over 70mph. Sean only talks about what he can’t do, not what he can do and after a little back and forth between Sean and I, I told him that I thought he was rude and that he was an (ass hole) and that was when he slid the keys back over the counter and told me to take it somewhere else.

My observations of Sean and his management skills are this. Sean is a narcissistic person that looks out for him self and his own interests. I saw and heard him talking over customers and employees with no kindness whatsoever. I also witnessed him take a sale from one of his employees. I am speaking up not only because of how I have been treated but for the people under his management that seem to fear repercussions of speaking out. My evaluation of this person (Sean) comes from my self-having a very thorough background in management over the past 25 year which includes managing up to 250 people on million-dollar projects in construction and leading men in the Army in Iraq in 2003 during War.
I hope that upper management investigates this matter further and there is retaining or termination of Sean because he does not know how to be a leader nor have management skills.

My 17 year old son’s tire picked up some steel. We took the tire to the Onalaska store. The manager, Mr Flores snuck us in, fixed the tire and mounted it within 30 minutes. My son tells me that’s where he is going for service

HAVE BEEN LONG TIME CLIENT. UNFORTUNATELY I DICOVERED MY AIR FILTER AND CABIN FLITERS WERE NEVER CHANGED AS I WAS CHARGED.
I ALSO FOUND THE WARRANTY ON TIRES THAT HAVE A DEFECT AND TIRES PLUS CONTINUES TO SELL THESE , THE EXCUSE IS LOW TIRE PRESSURE CAUSES THE TIRE BRAND TO COME APRT INSIDE , WEEL IF I KEEP 35LB ON MY KIA WHAT IS LOW?

Promt, professional service

I was in Rapid City, SD. I really needed my tire looked at. I went online late in the evening, and secured an appointment for the next day, a Sunday. I was greeted promptly in a friendly and courteous manner. They only charged me a minimal service fee, as the problem was just a rock in my wheel well.
They were kind, honest, and professional. I will return to this quality business.
