Approval was given and I appreciated that. I received an email asking me if everything was ok. I have really liked that. Good job. The down side is that TOCO waits all day to get approval. Quicker answers would be good.

The first time I called several months ago and asked questions on payments the guy was so super nice . Now I called today and DEPENDING ON WHO YOU GET this lady was so aweful and had nothing but so much rudeness. I wanted to pause a payment and wanted to let her know the reason for calling but no she jumped into the mosh pit and said NO, i cannot do that. I said I want to then cancel I no longer want them as my warranty I will go somewhere else she proceeded to yell at me and I ended up calling cancellation dept who for the guy was like a robot, no emotions no nothing. Please stop hiring these clowns who have no business or experience in handling cust service. They make company look bad because of people like that.

This company is a scam! I've been giving them my money for 7 years straight! All to still have to come out of pocket on something that I thought was fully covered! These people only paid for 2 repairs in 7 years. My alternator and an axel. I took it where they recommended and no one never documented my engine was going out. Choose you own shop, don't take your car where they recommend because they might be working together! Because ain't know why I wasn't told my engine was going out. Now my engine is bad and they can only cover up to the amount my car is worth and now I have to pay 2000 out of pocket after paying then thousands for nothing ! If I would've known that, I would've been stop paying they ass!
Please read your contract because they will definitely play you!!
Don't waste your money with these people!

First I'd like to state that this Review isn't about my issue with Toco, it's about the millions of struggling people who work from paycheck to paycheck and need a company with some sense of Social responsibility to step forward and show some empathy. Now that I've stated that let me begin. In December 2021 I researched Car Warranty Companies and TOCO caught my attention because of their A+ Rating with the BBB. I enrolled with their friendly and courteous sales reps who painted a very wonderful picture about TOCO and set a high bar as far as my expectation of what to expect from the incredible service and care they promised. Now it's October 2022 and I've paid my bill to TOCO faithfully every single month. My car puts out a trouble code to get my braking system checked, so I go to Factory Trained and Certified Mechanics and they tell me my brake pump is failing and needs to be changed. I immediately gave them my information from TOCO remembering all the lovely things their sales rep told me about their concern for their customers. Initially they agreed to send out a Technician, then suddenly rescinded the offer. Why you ask? Well it's simple the Brake Pump hasn't completely failed... yet. Now I'm not going to drive around risking my life and the lives of other motorists till the brake pump seizes, my tires lock, and a catastrophic accident occurs. You see over 26 years ago, in another car I owned, my brake pump froze and a huge crash happened. The car was totaled! Anyways when I asked the Rep Jessica if she thought driving a car in this condition was the right thing to do she replied "We're not forcing you to drive your car" I know right? The humanity is overflowing, it made me feel so valued, in fact it made me feel loved by the great folks at TOCO. NOT! Then I got a call and a message was left asking me to return their call. A change of heart perhaps? So I said to the Rep whose name supposedly is Brittany "What if a working mother with three children has your warranty and she has the same issue. She's a single mom, working from paycheck to paycheck and she buys a TOCO warranty like I did. Now her mechanic lets her know her car isn't safe to drive, the brake pump will fail at any moment, so she calls you thinking she's in good hands then you refuse to fix the issue. Do you think she's going to stop driving the car? And is it right for her to wait till it fails completely before you'll act?" Her reply? I kid you not, Brittany another TOCO Rep with a winning work ethic replied "I can't answer that question!". So you judge for yourself whether their A+ BBB Rating is worth anything but puffery to rope in unsuspecting customers? As for myself I'm working with the Illinois House of Representatives, The Governor, The State Attorney and the FTC to change the rules on all warranty companies. Not just TOCO, all of them. We have very strong consumer protections here in Illinois, and where the best interests of the public become jeopardized by unethical business practices they will intervene. Look I am fortunate that I can fix my car on my own using my money, and fortunately when my car manufacturer heard this story they agreed to fix my entire braking system for free! That's right, they're fixing the faulty pump and everything else so they can keep me and motorists around me safe. It is entirely irresponsible to wait for braking systems to fail completely before you'll fix it! Especially when a customer has paid you more money than the repair even costs. Do you want that single struggling mother or grandmother or anyone for that matter driving behind you anxiously waiting for their brake pump to fail? Of course not. We're not talking about an alternator, or a water pump, or an air conditioning compressor, we're talking about the most vital part of any automobile; THE BRAKING SYSTEM. And yes TOCO has to make a profit, no one's questioning that, but if you want to show the public how great you say you are, do better TOCO. Be the game changer, show America why you're the best Car Warranty Company otherwise that BBB Rating isn't worth anything. I will never trust a BBB Rating ever again. As far as TOCO, hear me; I won't stop fighting for every single person living paycheck to paycheck who dedicates themselves to buying your car warranty, you have zero social responsibility. And as for your Reps? Have the claims department solicit sales for you so the public can see who you really are. At least I could give you some credit for setting low expectations. In that regard you should have a AAAA+ rating.

I basically DO NOT like this company. Nothing is communicated correctly with customers or their staff. Let alone the rudeness. My daughter's policy ended without notice. She found out as she was calling for a tow truck. We are Not renewing that policy. I want to cancel mine so bad....

I had a very fine experience talking with Dillon today he was very helpful in having me elude the practice of shop repair costs and for those individuals and repair shops to stop trying to gouch me and he told me how to get things done and explained to me the process, where is the shop didn’t want to tell me that and they was skipping steps. I really appreciate him being knowledgeable about that. He did a job.

Toco Warranty is the best, I would recommend them to anyone. I never really thought about an extended warranty, thought of as a waste of money. Well I can say from experience that, "I AM SO GLAD I GOT AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. IT IS TRULY WORTH IT." When I've had a problem in my car warranty related, it's taken care of quickly, no issues, they work with the dealership, and just great customer service. Just spoke with a representative to change payment method was very polite, knowledgeable and handled my transaction quickly. 10 STAR Company I my opinion.

Well I received several emails from a Openbay+ company that I didn’t recognize. So I called the ToCo company that had a logo on the email. The reason because I didn’t want spam mail coming into my mail account. Daurie the customer service representative expressed that the email was to let me know that I received it for parts/service that are not covered by the warranty and we can get good company to complete work at a reasonable price. She was a great person to talk to. Wasn’t a spam message!

Dory was phenomenal in helping me with my claim. Anytime we got disconnected from the phone (due to my bad service), she was more than accessible in helping me with my claim from start to finish. I appreciate the time she took to explain my options to me as well as saving me money by informing me my warranty covers certain things and having me allow her to handle the logistics of everything. It was phenomenal customer service and her voice was always cheerful and welcoming to any and all questions I had! Exceptional customer service!
