Camera ordered already used and muddy

Received a (supposedly new) wildlife camera from Toguard that had mud splatters all over it, general gunk and what looked like bird excrement! To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Wish I'd looked into this company before buying it. Not holding my breath for a refund although I have asked for one.

WARNING - do NOT order a Toguard product. Their 12-month warranty was not honoured. We had purchased 2 trail cameras and a solar panel. The solar panel failed within 10 months and they would not honour their "100% money back guarantee" and "hassle-free 12-month warranty". We wouldn't buy from this company again.

Problem has been resolved satisfactorily.

I had a trail camera which worked fine for two months. When the batteries needed changing it no longer functioned at all. Despite contacting their customer service expecting a refund or replacement, none forthcoming.

After contacting them several times, I have eventually been provided with a new replacement camera which is working fine. At least they stepped up to their commitment to take responsibility for an item with a year's guarantee.

Great customer service, and very pleased with product.

Purchased a wildlife camera back in 2020. The camera works very well, and has given me some great shots. I have emailed customer service on 2 occasions, one of which was recently. Both times I received a response within 12 hours, with details and a picture attached on how to resolve my query. For me Toguard have provided a great service, even a couple of years after purchase. Highly recommended!

Professional service provided by Toguard and their employee.

I want to say thank Amy [Toguard employee] very much, not only for replacing my defective Toguard digital trail camera, but for her patience and professional help. After 7 months of use, the camera malfunctioned. I contacted Toguard online and dealt with this customer service employee. I was couriered a new replacement camera, which got lost in route. A 2nd replacement camera was sent by Amy, which arrived in 2 days. I am happy both with the product and the professional service provided by Toguard and their employee. Rick C. West, Canada

I purchased the 12” dual camera forward…

I purchased the 12” dual camera forward facing and rear wired camera
Tested it before fitting seemed fine
Drilled holes in my motor home to take cable to rear camera
Took time in installation so no wires on show
All seemed fine ,rear view camera fine
Checked that it recorded ok
Then needed to check recording that I had saved when driving
It was not there
Checked other recordings and date and time was incorrect
Reset date and time many times reset unit many times
Contacted supplier on eBay went over same checks
Still does not work
All I have is a reversing camera no dash cam of any use
I was asked to do a video by supplier even thou they know what is wrong
Stalling tactics
As it takes ages for them to reply
Poor service not what I expected from eBay
Or toguard

Avoid

The dash cams break easily and warranty and customer service is non existent. Avoid if possible and go with another manufacturer.

No customer service!

Their products and innovativeness alone is 5stars, but their garbage customer service, no customer service at all leaves me to take of 2 stars. I ordered the rear view camera product on Amazon, and for some reason they removed it off Amazon days later, so I contacted them, asking for simple mounting instructions in hope of an answer. I need to mount it over something else, not my rear view mirror preferably on the dash, still no reply heading into a month 2. If you can find a company you like, pick them over this.

Toguard Sellers and products banned…

Toguard Sellers and products banned from Amazon just after I purchased their top-of-the-line 4K and one mid-priced dash cams in FEB 2021. Cams screens were powered on, but main cam failed to record a month ago (no warnings). Second cam appeared on, but in fact the electronic lens failed - so no picture - just the menu data around the screen.
Without boring the reader about the 90 minutes failed AMZ chat (saved transcript) or the multiple failed attempts for a resolution with Chase Bank (AMZ branded credit card); and the lack of response from Toguard...bottom line, stay away from them. They do not honor their warranty. Everything I checked on their website is b.s.: you cannot verify any of the features or quality claims. A total loss of almost USD $250.

I bought the W300 wireless cctv system…

I bought the W300 wireless cctv system off ebay. After having lots of problems using the APP to connect to the system within the first 2 weeks, I contacted their customer service department. After monitoring my system for a while, they admitted the problem, hoping it was just a glitch as everything now seemed ok and offered me 20% cost return if I would keep the product and not return it. I accepted, providing I was still covered by their guarantee, to which they replied, Yes of course, but as you bought off ebay, you will have to notify our Ebay section, which I did. After several emails, I realised I wasn't getting any response. So I contacted their main service dept again. By this time, one channel kept skipping recording and finally gave up the ghost. After swapping the camera, I got the coverage again. I notified their service dept. yet again, and after several more attempts over the last month, I have decided it is a waste of my time and money.
The products are flimsy and poorly made and their service is absolutely pathetic. Do not buy.

Back on another day, with another issue.

Hello everyone, I had purchased a toguard dashcam with of course what won me over majorly, the main reason i purchased the camera was for the backup camera as i have tinted windows and need to see when parking. The setup was purchased 3/3/2020 and worked fine up until October 2020, when the rear camera stopped working, i tried contacting the company as well as wrote my 2 cents on amazon where it was purchased..but no positive result doing so, neither company even attempted to contact me back. So then i decide ok they sell "new" wiring kits for the backup camera, ordered it, they sent the wrong one, or at least i assume it's the wrong one (old wiring setup owned has a 5 pin connector with a light up nightview camera, the new one they sent has a 4 pin connector AND different camera without night view) however it says it went to the model i own (ce35) now i have to return it, they could've at least offered to give me the CORRECT wiring and cam free of charge, but instead i had to pay 20 bucks for something that was incorrect and doesn't work, pretty defective product so watch what you purchase from them. Unit comes on fine but rear cams are a no go now. When i had the old wiring connected to reverse wire a couple weeks ago, id put the vehicle in reverse and the camera would light up for night view, tried it last night and it wouldnt light up at all, so obviously the wiring wasn't bad because the camera is receive the signal to light up, must be the unit itself that won't engage the rear cam AT ALL, even if vehicles not in reverse it had a option rearview modes which allowed me while driving to use the backup cam something like a rearview mirror, with either a small view or large view mode. Was a great camera at first but for me without the rear backup camera, i pretty much wasted 60 dollars and with attempts to contact both amazon and Toguard failed, i mean no responses lead me to really not recommend Toguard products to anyone. I mean you buy things and expect them to work and if they stop working there should be warranties or at least some assistance with their failed product. Didn't even come with decent instructions when the unit was first purchased, lucky Im very skilled in car audio and etc, and have hooked a bunch of these type of devices up. Im very disappointed with my purchased and 60 bucks plus whatever taxes that i wont see again.
