Although the first roller set was too big for the size of the garage, the guys still fitted the electronics and ordered the smaller set. It arrived within a couple of weeks and was fitted within 1 hour because the electronics were already fitted.
We are really pleased with the job and it works great.

My experience of Toms Garage Doors was outstanding from first to last.
I engaged three local garage door companies to visit the garage, assess the work required and outline whether a repair was feasible. One company said, after an initial inspection, that they would return again for a full diagnosis and quotation marks. A date and time was agreed upon but they never showed again.
Another company charged a fee of £20 for a preliminary visit which would be deducted off the final cost.
On arrival they told me that the garage required far more repairs and replacement of parts that I knew were so unnecessary. On return to their office they claimed that the parts were no longer available and that they could not do the work. They kept the £20.
Clearly a scam.
Finally I got in touch with Tom’s Garage Doors who came out to assess the situation. Clearly one of the springs was broken and needed replacing.
They advised that both springs should be replaced at the same time.
The quotation was nearly as close for two New springs as other companies were quoting for one. The springs were available but required to be ordered from the EU.
Two fitters arrived with both springs two weeks later. Both men were polite, courteous, and clearly professional in their work. In a couple of hours the door was opening and closing as if new.
I cannot recommend this company enough. From the receptionist and clerical staff I spoke to right through to the fitters and finished result the quality of the service was exceptional.
I would suggest you go no where else.

Arrived as advised. Job done quickly. Silicon lubricant used on all the door where appropiate.

Accurate diagnosis of problem. Repair quotation within minutes. Repair then successfully completed. Bingo! My garage door works again beautifully.

My garage door decided its had enough,needed it repaired as soon as possible due to having toos and utilies in there.The guy (sorry can't remember his name.)came out the next day had look and contacted his firm they give me a price and I was happy to go ahead.He completed the work and I was realy impressed with the work he did and for the cost.I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

The garage door gentleman came straight away and got my door open as I had the Tree People here who needed access through the garage to remove all the rubbish. Nice person who sorted it. Thank you. Reasonable price for ultra quick service.
