Based on various reviews we contacted Tom for a private country side tour. His communication before meeting was great and we were actual able to go with him personally. My wife and I could not say enough about this experience and Tom. Made countless stops, with the highlight being cycling to the lighthouse. Tom was extremely knowledgeable and engaged with us the entire time. He had all the right connections at each stop, was always aware of our safety in some unfamiliar environments, and had everything else from snacks to sunscreen. Finally he is an amazing photographer and sent us a couple hundred pics the next day. You will miss an incredible opportunity if you don’t go with Toms Travel Tours.

I booked a tour to the Dutch countryside with Tom’s tours after doing some research on Trip Advisor. This was for us 2 families, each with a young child (aged 4 and 8). We were expecting a pleasant trip, but we were really blown away by the experience! Tom was exuberant, super helpful and cheerful, bringing in a rare level of energy to the trip. What more, his love for photography made our wives feel like being clicked by paparazzi! He took us to Edam, Marken among other places. The highlight of the trip was a beautiful bike ride up to the lighthouse near Marken, and the experience of the Edam cheese market. We didn’t get time to visit the windmill farms at Schmerherhorn, but Tom compensated that with a quick stop at the classic windmill near Amsterdam. Overall, a super experience. Wouldn’t think a bit before recommending his service to anyone looking for a Dutch country side experience!

My family of 18 and I took a 2 week cruise and had a one day stop in Amsterdam on July 19, 2019. I arranged a tour with Tom to see the Windmill Farm in Zaanse Schans, and then to Amsterdam for a walking tour, with a couple of museums and a Canal cruise with lunch. Our family has done a total of 6 of these kind of cruises in Europe before and we arrange our own excursions thru similar travel companies like Tom's Travel Tours. Tom's Travel Tours far exceeded my expectations, and has been the best tour company I have ever dealt with. His communication and attention to detail was outstanding. When I first contacted this company to plan tours for our group of 6, prior to a cruise, I could not have been happier. I let them know our days there, and what we were interested to see. Well, we so very happy with all of our tours. We had 2 walking tours in different areas of Amsterdam, and an additional walking tour in the Red Light District. And an all day tour out in the countryside. We saw and learned so very much with the EXCELLENT guides, who went above and beyond to ensure we saw and experience as much as we could. I would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Amsterdam, and wanting to explore the area. We had private tours. and if I ever have the opportunity to visit again, Tom's Travel Tours will be the one the contact. Thank you for showing us an excellent time.

When my daughter and I visited Amsterdam, we chose some tours with Toms Travel. Tom and his team was excellent. We chose day trips to Geithoorn, tulips gardens, visit windmills and the food tour. We were taken to villages too. Oh my God. The trips were incredible. I honestly recommend Toms Travel to those who are visiting The Netherlands. My daughter and I will definitely be back and we will choose Toms Travel again to take us around other places.

Tom and his team did a tremendous job for us in showing all the parts of Amsterdam that you need to see. We did 3 days of tours including seeing the country on the last day. Tom was professional and passionate - giving us free amazing pictures as well! Great job!

My daughter and I went on a city tour (with food tasting) with Tricia the morning of May 25th. We had just flown overseas to Amsterdam. Tricia met us at our hotel, and very promptly at that. Our tour was great ! Tricia was personable, knowledgeable, energetic, and patient. We both had a great time seeing the city for the first time. I highly recommend this tour to anyone new to the city.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Tom's Travel Tours. Tom and Ana were very responsive via email for scheduling. I had a medical emergency that required that we delay our booked and paid tour by several months, and they made this change very easy, and even suggested the best month to return (April to see the tulips!). We were lucky enough to have Tom as our guide. Everything he suggested was spot-on. We visited the tulip fields, a windmill museum, and drove through the polders. With
Tom we were able to meet many local people and learn about life in and around Amsterdam. He was also very flexible, and when the opportunity presented itself to rent bikes and ride to the beach, he encouraged us to do it! Tom is very knowledgeable about and proud of his country, and this came through in every aspect our time together. He even had wonderful Dutch treats and wine for us on the ride back to the hotel! In addition, Tom is a very accomplished photographer, and he took beautiful photos of our day together, which he sent to us after the tour. We are so happy we connected with Tom. His tours might be more expensive than others you will research, but I assure you it was worth every penny, and we would have paid even more for the experience we had! Thanks Tom and Ana!!

We arranged for two tours form Toms and both were excellent. Highly professional, prompt and knowledgeable, We highly recommend them to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Tom was a wonderful guide through the Tulip fields. My mother and I really felt safe with Tom’s very good driving and comfortable touring car. He is a real gentleman. Very easy to talk to and our beautiful photographs that Tom took are a real hit with friends and relatives. We will contact Tom again for additional touring next time we return to Amsterdam.
