I had exactly the same experience.
These people are scammers and obviously dishonest.
And PayPal were useless.

Scammers. If I could give zero stars I would. I bought a replacement Bosch strimmer battery in March that didn't work. I explained that I was out of the country but that I would just about be able to return it within the 30 days. They suggested that I would also need a new charger as the battery probably wouldn't work with the old Bosch charger. They promised that if they still didn't work together then I would be able to return everything for a refund.

They don't work and the company are ignoring my emails regarding their return and a refund.

This company are scammers. Their batteries are rubbish, bought one for Dyson V7 and absolute rubbish! Runtime of 2 minutes at the most! I wished I had read reviews before I bought it! You cannot get hold of them and they don’t answer your emails. The site leads you to believe they are a uk company but they’re not! Cheap Chinese crap! Keep clear!

Very bad company, they are scammers stay away from this company. I have lost 60 pounds .I wish I had read the reviews before I had ordered.

My MILWAUKEE 48-11-1860 battery just arrived, less than 48hrs since I ordered it. Thank you soooo much! I'll certainly be recommending your site to others.

Ordered two AEG Lithium batteries for an AEG drill. On the web site they were described as AEG batteries and the photograph showed an AEG logo. When they arrived they were some sort of unbranded substitute battery. I immediately wrote to ask to return them. The only available contact means was a Hotmail address belonging to someone called Qiuyan Qin. Someone called Anna responded "All the batteries that we provide are replacement ones. You can see "replacement" any where on our website" - which they seem to think justifies the deceptive descriptions and images on the site. I pointed out that the batteries supplied are substitutes rather than replacements, and I wanted to return them (as per basic consumer rights). She did offer to provide a return address but so far has not responded to any further requests (3 to date) for the address. Meanwhile have bought a proper AEG battery from Amazon (which was, to be fair, quite a lot more expensive) and submitted a complaint to PayPal. Am still waiting for a refund. Only use this site if you deliberately want a cheap substitute battery (though looks like they don't work well, having read other reviews here). As others here have said, I wish I had checked out Trust Pilot before buying!

AVOID THIS COMPANY. This company should not be trading. I ordered two replacement batteries for a dewalt drill, they sent the wrong items. The items received seem to be have been sent via ebay, but I ordered directly on the website. Sent three emails, they do not respond. Shocking company that should not be trading. Will report to paypal.

I ordered an AEG battery, pictured as an genuine item. They sent a very cheap copy and you'll note there are NO phone numbers to contact them on and in my experience, they don't reply to emails sent to them.

AVOID. I ordered a DE9071 replacement battery for my DeWalt drill in November 18 and the delivery was reasonably prompt. On receipt, I charged the battery and tried using it the following day. Electrically, the battery powered my drill, but the retaining clips locating the battery on the drill were inadequate. As soon as I started drilling, the battery fell out of the drill. Then the nightmare started. Customer service was erratic - they requested photos of the new and existing batteries, which I sent three times without any response from the company. After numerous unanswered e-mails requesting a refund and a return address for the battery, I referred the dispute to Paypal.The company failed to respond to Paypal, who subsequently refunded me in full.

I should have looked at other reviews here before ordering and the absence of any postal address on their website was another warning I did not recognise at the time.

I would not advise anyone to use this company.

Don't use these people. they are a foreign company posing as UK. the items eventually arrived but took weeks. when they did they were used batteries and not the capacity ordered. had to dispute through paypal

Having replaced the two batteries for my Dewalt from this company the first one has only been recharged 19, yes that's 19 times and now will not hold a charge deeming it unserviceable. Response from company was that i was over the guarantee period. Nevertheless, if i was a builder i would have reached this point within a month of purchase i expect. Their technical people were unsurprisingly silent on this matter. I expect the second battery will fail soon as it's being used at twice the rate as i'm down to one battery. These 'new' batteries should recharge hundreds of times and last years. ToolBattery are obviously using second rate components or are only replacing some of the cells thus reducing life expectancy of the battery. Avoid this company like the plague!

I ordered an AEG battery for my cordless drill from their website. It arrived within 4/5 days but on opening it was not an AEG battery but a substitute.
In addition the battery was faulty.
Via the website I tried to make contact 3 times and had no reply so then emailed the contact on the PayPal payment. Nothing!!

Now raised issue with PayPal and waiting. Can find no address or phone number to make contact as none is listed on the website.

They seem to be in Leyland but cannot even track back via parcel and no paperwork enclosed!!

Avoid!! Lousy service and clearly not interested in their customers.

Ordered battery on the 4th July 2018. Nothing received by Royal Mail/ Parcel Force. Emailed a dozen times no response now have no choice going to court.
Terrible company total rip off

I ordered a 4AH battery and was sent a 3AH. I was not notified of the change and when I queried it was told the 4AH was out of stock so they substituted it. This almost feel dishonest.

I have been tring to get a reasonable refund = to the 25% reduction in the battery capacity or a full refund. They offered a significantly lower refund and after several weeks it's still under dispute in paypal.

I purchased an AEG compatible Power tool battery in November 2015 costing £78.20. On 6th November 2016, the battery died and would not recharge. I mistakenly started a correspondence with the maker VHBW of the battery on the 7th November, before realising in December that the warranty was with the supplier, 'Tool Battery UK'.

In January 2017 I wrote to 'Tool Battery UK' requesting a replacement battery under the Warranty terms, but they refused, because the battery was outside the warranty period.

Even though I shared with them my correspondence with VHBW, they avoided giving me any recompense for this expensive battery.

I believe this was very poor behaviour from a company which claims on their own website that;
"you are likely to have improved run times over your original cordless drill battery due to improvements in battery technology"
