Sent in my child helmet after a fall for a replacement. Communication was difficult with the company- often went weeks without anyone getting back to me through phone and or Facebook messenger and email- took several months for the replacement to arrive
Love the helmet but customer service could use some finessing...communication is key!

I bought my Trauma Void helmet about a year ago because the science behind the design and safety. It took a little getting used to because it felt strange that it was tightly fit but could still move. The Dover associate helping me assured me it fit correctly.
Recently, a young horse bucked landing from a jump. I landed on my head and back. It cracked the helmet, which I did not realize until I was done riding and cleaning my tack. I knew I hit my head, but I did not realize how hard. I never got a headache or anything else you would associate with a hard hit to the head. The helmet did it's job and I will definitely be replacing it with another Trauma Void.

Trauma Void MIP helmets for horse riders are a life saving product. The product quality is excellent. The program allowing a replacement helmet for half price after a fall allows a person to afford a new helmet and makes it worthwhile for the person so they don't have to choose between cost of a new helmet and the safety they would not have if they choose to continue to use the crashed helmet. Customer service representatives were extremely responsive and helpful. Trish was superb in making sure my helmet was replaced and made special arrangements to ship the new one so that I had it before weekend riding. I will continue to use Trauma Void helmets the rest of my riding life. My sincere gratitude for your product, customer service and replacement program.

I love the Trauma Void Lynx. I like that it's adjustable, so my daughter can use it sometimes too. I can also fit a thin hat underneath in the winter. Once you get it dialed in on your head, it's a snug and comfortable fit. It is light weight and attractive.

My daughter took a tumble off her horse and bumped her head. I used their replacement policy and got 50% a new helmet when I turned it in.

I've been riding my whole life. My 17 hand, 4 year old horse walked off while I was mounting, causing me to land behind the saddle instead of in it. He was understadably startled and promptly bucked me off. I have no memory of the fall itself and the next thing i remember was sitting up in the dirt with my trainer asking questions. I had extreme confusion and amnesia of much of my day for several hours and I have a grade 3 concussion. But nothing broken and no brain bleeding. Helmet shell itself did not crack despite the impact which is amazing. There is no doubt in my mind that if not for it I would be hospitalized with a fractured skull and a very serious long term brain injury instead of recovering at home. Wear your helmet, folks. No excuses. Please.

I am a fox hunter, coming to the sport, and riding, late in life. I was 55 when I started riding and 63 when I first rode to the hounds. Last year, during a hunt, I hit my head on a tree. I replaced that helmet with a MIPS. Recently I came off as my horse was negotiating a trappy 39" jump in the woods. The helmet was advertised as helping to prevent concussions from whiplash. It did just that. I would never again buy a helmet without MIPS technology.

Couldn't be happier with the trauma void helmets. I bought my daughter one for her birthday this year. 11 days later she had spill on XC and was drug a short distance before her horse stopped and aloud a spectator to help her release her foot from the iron (yes it was a peacock iron and the band broke but her foot still got hung up). Her helmet was broken in fall. To my surprise though my kid was ok. No concussion! After being checked out she even rode her second pony that day. I contacted Trama Void and they had us ship them the helmet (they covered shipping) and confirmed it was broken and sent us a code for 50% off the replacement helmet. My understanding is this is their standard crash warranty. Trauma Void gets my approval as both a mother & a trainer.

I love this helmet! For a while during the pandemic it was on backorder but I finally was able to order and it delivered within a few days. So comfortable and looks so professional and I ride much more confidently knowing I’m in less danger of hurting myself.

I have ridden in many different helmets over the years. Before my Trauma Void it was a Sam Shield---everybody was wearing these, until I fell off and hit my head and had a concussion. I swore my next helmet I was going to do research on the safety of these helmets. Well Sam Shield was not high on the list. Trauma Void was with MIPS--so I ordered one and got the Lynx and love it. I recently fell off and I have to tell you the difference in hitting your head in a Sam Shield or a Trauma Void is remarkable. My head pounded after the fall in Sam Shield...Trauma Void, I walked away with no headache or any soreness. I was amazed and so happy I was riding in the Trauma Void now..There is no comparison. My safety is more important than riding in the most trendy helmet

I was looking at trauma void since I had a serious fall 3 years ago. My one k expired this year so I bought my first TV. I had it for about 3 months, had a bad wreck, broke the helmet. I sent it in and they gave me half off a brand new helmet. My injuries were nominal from my fall even though I broke the helmet. No er visits, no traumatic brain injury, a couple of bruises and I was on my way. No one should be riding in a helmet without mips technology. I'll never buy another helmet without it. The TV reps were very helpful getting the new helmet on its way and it is another great choice. I went with the lynx this time and it is a very comfortable helmet and I'm hoping I don't need 50 % off again!! I'm a Healthcare provider also and I hope parents consider the mips technology for kids involved in any sport where there is high risk for head injury

I had a serious fall off my horse and contacted the company to inform them of the accident. True to their word, I received empathic communication and was issued a gift certificate to replace my helmet at 1/2 price. Not only was I protected from a potential head injury, but I was also ensured continued protection by getting a replacement at 1/2 the cost. This company truly has customer satisfaction and safety as core values!

Hands down the most comfortable helmet out of the 4 brands I have tried. I actually forgot I had it on and wore it from the barn into the house. Hoping not to ever test the MIPS system but glad it is there.
