The whole process was easy and the team was very responsive. Our nanny Narumi was great with our toddler and 9 month old. My kids loved spending time with her while we explored the “less kid-friendly” areas in Osaka. We got some lovely photos of our kids and frequent updates from Narumi that put us at ease. I will be using this service again for our future trips. I’m hoping they expand to more countries in the near future too!

We wouldn’t have been able to experience Japan after 6pm without Travel Nanny! We brought our 16 month old on our trip, and his bedtime would have kept us in the hotel at night. The whole process was smooth and I felt reassured that this business had done their due diligence. I really appreciated the ability to interview the nanny ahead of time. She was wonderful with our little one, prompt, and very flexible with our needs. Will be using Travel Nanny again!

Eri & Mika were absolutely amazing. I wish they were here in the states. We have hyper kids and one was just diagnosed with severe ADHD and they were able to keep them engaged, played with them and the kids had a great time. So appreciative of their services, 10 stars! The owner was very communicative during the process and helped us find the right fit for our family. All around amazing!

Besides the sun being brutal yesterday which gave me an intense sunburn it was an amazing time with the Lan 'Ohana. The Mom came to Hawai'i for a client of her's... She brought her two daughters who are just as sweet as her, they're 6yrs and 8yrs. My normal Nannying shifts are about 10.5hrs, but this was by far the best 10.5hrs shift I ever worked. We took an 'ukulele lesson first thing, then spent 5.5hrs in the pools/jacuzzi, including having lunch poolside. After showers, we did some painting, the girls got popsicles, and then we designed and made Barbie dresses. We also read a cute and fun short book they brought with them. The Mom treated me to lunch (which makes sense since I was working), but she also treated me to some dinner (she invited me to actually join them, but I had to get going), and Turtle Bay has delicious food. This was actually the first time I got to meet Beverly, the CEO,"face to face," as she handled the interview this time. So that was also pretty cool.

Fabulous experience using Travel Nanny each time. This is my third time using the service, and its a joy each time. Very reliable, resourceful, and lovely people.

I was able to spend precious time with the wonderful family. For the very first time as a family, we took the subway to Tsukiji and enjoyed delicious sashimi—the children tried raw fish for the very first time. It was their first experience tasting it, and I’m sure those new sensations left them with unforgettable memories.

It was their first opportunity to experience Japanese culture as a family unit, and I believe they made many discoveries and had truly memorable experiences. As for the parents, I hope they were still able to enjoy a romantic evening just the two of them—that would make me very happy.

I am sincerely grateful for having met all of them, who welcomed me like family.

We had the most amazing experience with Travel Nanny & our nanny Mika. The whole interview and booking process was seamless & Mika felt like family from the start. She was so wonderful bringing small gifts for the kids and establishing immediate rapport. Having her take us around town made us feel like locals & then having some adult alone time ensured we got to have a great balanced Tokyo experience. Would hands down recommend & we will consider using travel nanny in other countries. Kids already miss Mika.

Working as a babysitter for The Travel Nanny has been an incredibly rewarding experience. It has given me the chance to develop strong cross-cultural communication skills while adapting to the unique needs of families from diverse backgrounds. Living and working in Japan allowed me to immerse myself in a new culture, learn valuable lessons in patience, and develop a deep appreciation for different parenting styles.

The Travel Nanny made our trip to Japan a completely different experience than it otherwise would have been. My wife and I had decided against finding a babysitter for our kids for a couple of date nights on our trip, in part because one of our kids can get quite anxious, and in part because we didn't feel entirely comfortable with the options available to us.
Travel Nanny addressed both concerns, with their extensive background checks, nanny profiles, and Zoom intro calls, we felt comfortable with the nannies we selected and our kids had already "met" them ahead of time.

Watching the 2 L*** children was a great and fun evening. The children are very close and consistently helping each other out. We stayed at the hotel, playing the A, B, C game and I spy walking to/from elevators. I took them swimming per parents request. The parents had their meals and I just warmed and plated. Very easy and relaxing. This was a fantastic family to work with. Very communicative.

It was my first time to Japan and my husband had a convention to go to. While he was there I really wanted to explore Tokyo but I didn’t feel comfortable traveling to the city by myself with my 4 year old. Travel Nanny sent us Hiromi—the sweetest, most helpful nanny & guide. She a native Japanese but she speaks excellent English and helped us navigated the train system which can be confusing. She got us around safely, carried the stroller, showed us the sites and taught us about Japanese culture. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
