horrible experience charged us for thing we never ordered

I spent several years and considerable $ with a local lawn company, my lawn was just getting to the level I wanted. This local company were purchased last year by TruGreen, so this has been my first (AND LAST) year with them. I should have seen the writing on the wall on the very first service call there were NO signs left on the lawn that weed killer had been applied. When I called to point this out I was told that the technician said he left signs. I was able find a single sign, in my BACKYARD.
The final straw was last week when they showed up to aerate and I had assumed to over-seed as well. The person doing the service was in such a hurry that my lawn was actually torn up by the machine from making sharp turns, and they did not even do the side of my home. I used the website to inform them of the service problem with no call back, a few days later, I used the same website to ask again for someone to contact me, a few days later I called and talked to customer service. I was offered for someone to stop by and make repairs, but too much time had past for me to entertain that offer. I also asked if over-seed was done on the same aeration visit and was told that I did not have that service as part of my plan, but that she was willing to offer me a discount since I had a service complaint.
I CANCELLED WITH THEM IMMEDIATELY.

I have been a satisfied customer of Green-A-Lawn for 15+ years, and paid in advance for the 2021 season. Then, in April, TruGreen showed up at my home after being told that they bought out the Green-A-Lawn company. They do not respond to emails or telephone calls OR they respond by saying someone will be out to your property in a few days and NO ONE shows up. Our lawn is the worst in 39 years: crabgrass, dandelions, bugs, browning out of the lawn, etc. And, no matter how many times I requested to speak to a supervisor or get someone to my home to take care of the situation, I was either ignored or told someone would come and perform a treatment, but no one did. After four+ weeks [the browning of the lawn from bugs (grubs, cinch bugs, etc.)] started out small (about a 3' patch) and called TruGreen right away. Someone came out a week later and sprayed, however, they never came back till much later (after many calls and emails with pictures) and the side lawn is dead - it is too late. Just had a service a few days ago for the bugs, however, the crabgrass is spreading and was told someone would come out to handle - no one showed. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!
