I switched to True Green from another…
I switched to True Green from another service provider. I paid upfront for 7-8 treatments. I showed the 1st person that showed up how to navigate getting my gate to gain access to my backyard, the wood warped and you must lift the handle over the latch. I even asked early on to make a note on my account to let them know about the gate. Every contractor that comes out has never had an issue with this (Lawn-care, Pest control, etc) Every time after the initial treatment, true green's tech's never even tried to open the gate to do my backyard, so I would check my cameras and see them press the latch, then just leave. I was constantly calling them to come back and treat my backyard. It just kept happening time after time. I would call and they would assure me that it wouldn't happen and the note was on my account. On the 5th time, I just happen to be home and watched the tech barely touch the fence and went to his truck. I went to him right as he was leaving and asked why he didn't do the backyard, He says" the gate is locked" I went over it with him & showed him how easy it was. He says he was new( so no consistency with tech like I had asked) and there was no note on my account. I called to cancel, after finally getting it thru to them that I was done giving chances,I was told the $ that had not been used for the last 3 treatment would be refunded. 8 days later a person from Corporate called me, Kay Martin, she acted like she had no idea why I was leaving them, I went thru the whole story as usual. She was argumentative with me, to the point I had to hang up on her. She was very rude( Her behavior is in line with the service I received, unprofessional) My refund had never been processed, I guess she wanted to see if she could convince me to stay. After being told I would receive a certain amount back the customer support person, I finally got back all but $9. I was emailed the day it finally processed, saying that the amount I was told was wrong, and that they had given me a promotional and somehow that they had to keep $9. I was really over them and would not recommend them. Garbage!!
