Big brand, big let-down. I decided to try their lawn-care service this year, and both visits were the same story: the tech zipped around, spraying a few random patches and leaving huge sections untouched. Watching it happen twice made me suspect this half-hearted approach might be standard practice in my area. Oddly enough, my mother-in-law’s yard looks terrific under the same company, different city—so maybe it just comes down to which crew shows up. Either way, I’m done paying premium prices for spotty work. Next season I’ll carve out the time and handle the lawn myself.

I received the first treatment for weeds today. The technician sprayed a few spots in the backyard and a small portion of grass I the from yard before leaving. He spent more time sitting in his truck than he did treating my grass. I immediately canceled the services I prepaid. This was a complete waste of my money.
