Below are our comments and review of the Trugreen service we received:
Scotts and Trugreen merged in 2016.
Our online account does not show our service agreement.
Trugreen website mentions trees as part of their service; but does not provide any additional details
Trugreen work orders reviewed from 2017 to 2021; 11 work orders referenced application or treatment to trees and shrubs.
Trugreen work orders do not indicate which trees
As of 8-13-2021, Trugreen appears to have closed account.
I mentioned not to service our property until I call. I did not say that our account should be cancelled/closed.
Manager, Brent, called on 8-9-2021, as requested, he did not offer to make things right.
Manager, Brent, verbally mention about a service agreement that applies only to rhodedenren and azaleas, not trees.
Trugreen retention staff call a day or two later, asking about situation. I mentioned about the dead pine tree and asked if Trugreen would pay for half of the removal cost; the retention staff member asked management; response was that it was not Trugreen's policy; staff did not offer any alternative
Trugreen customer service staff and manager referenced that Corporate is responsible for several issues: website description that includes references to trees in general.
We have had lawn care service for 10 years from Scotts/Trugreen. The company appears to not want our business since they cancelled our account. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone based on our recent interaction and lack of willingness to resolve this situation.
