Great delivery and communication. Mat shed a lot of black fluff for a while but after vacuuming seems ok. Only time will tell how durable it is as early days. Very satisfied at present.

Hello and thank you for the brilliant review! Really pleased to hear the website was easy to navigate and that your bespoke mat arrived ahead of schedule — always a nice surprise! You make a fair point on the price — bespoke mats are made to your exact specifications and cut to size, so there is a little more involved in the process compared to our standard range, but we hope you'll agree the quality makes it worthwhile in the long run.

Mat for wheeled office chair
I'm always a bit dubious buying from a new company online, but very pleased that I did. Needed a mat to go under my wheeled office chair and came across the Shades custom chair mats. Wasn't sure which colour so I ordered some free samples. Then chose the made to measure option to get the exact right size, with claw backing for carpet. Simple ordering system and mat arrived a couple of weeks later. Good service.

Respuesta de Trusted Mats
Hi Richard,
Thank you for taking the leap with us and for leaving such a detailed review - it'll be really helpful to others in a similar position!
You went about it exactly the right way by ordering samples first to get the colour just right, then going for the made-to-measure option to ensure a perfect fit. The claw backing for carpet is a great choice too, keeping the mat firmly in place under the constant movement of an office chair whilst protecting your carpet beneath.
Really glad it all came together well. Do keep us in mind if you need any further matting down the line and feel free to get in touch with our team if you need any advice or samples!

Hi Rob,
Thank you for the honest feedback. We're really sorry that the wrong colour was sent out in the first instance - we completely understand that having to stay home on two occasions to receive the deliveries is frustrating and we appreciated your help in sending the other mat back to us.
We're glad our customer service team were able to sort things out quickly with a single call, but you make a fair point and as such we'd like to offer you 10% off your next mat with us - just get in touch again with our customer service team directly.
We hope the mat itself is now working well for you, and we'd love the opportunity to restore your faith in us should you need any matting in the future.
